This might be of use to you if you are in Lambeth. https://www.lambeth.gov.uk/rubbish-and-recycling/rubbish-collections/arrange-a-bulky-waste-collection The cost is ?21 for up to 4 items. If the item is in good condition it might be worth seeing if Emmaus would like to collect it so they can resell it in store. Or put it on freecycle. hope this helps.

Willing to work full time can anyone please help
chris- replied to Ali0001's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Don't work for companies for free. They will take advantage of you and it makes them rely on people looking for experience. Instead of hiring a full time employee they just keep hiring people who work for free. Doing voluntary work at a charity is a much better way to go. If you like helping people with English it might be worth looking at teaching English as a foreign language. Doing a tefl course would let you do this. Good luck with your seach and I hope you find something you like. -

Man with van to take boxes to Hastings?
chris- replied to Technique's topic in Request a Tradesperson
The price for this job would be based on the time taken to load, travel there, unload and travel back plus extra for fuel and any extra help if you need it. I have sent you a pm about the job -
If he has a limited company he has liability limited to what he has invested in the company. If something goes wrong and you try to sue his company then he can just dissolve the company and start another one with a different name. If he is a sole trader and you sue him and win can take everything he owns to cover your debt. I would focus on making sure that he has the correct insurance rather than the type of company he has.
