  1. "Disgruntled Coca-Cola Employee Spikes ?Michael? Bottles With Dirt"... http://931jackfm.cbslocal.com/2014/07/31/disgruntled-coca-cola-employee-spikes-michael-bottles-with-dirt/

  3. And, by the way, its Northerners.
  4. Exactly. Don't go there.
  5. Offered to get a cold drink for the guy cleaning my car in Sainsbury's car park whilst I was shopping... He said a Coke would be nice, but discovered all the cold cokes were in bottles with names on them. Could have had Laura, Bobby, Anna, Mark,... Not sure it felt right to be giving a coke from a 59year old woman with 'Bro' on it but he seemed to appreciate it...
  6. wavyline girl...is it because you want to take back what you said?
  7. cle, Sophron and the like...its only by a fluke of nature that you drew the long straw and live the entitled life you do. Clearly, some people were less lucky. How about a bit of generosity, tolerance and UNDERSTANDING of the dreadful situation some people are in? Reading this diatribe over petty issues really makes me embarrassed to be part of the East Dulwich community that is sometimes represented on this forum. You need to find a gated community in and lock yourselves in.
  8. Perfect, Help-Ma-Boab! Now Salsaboy..what's going to be on your t-shirt..?
  9. What about all those people who spend months [?years] waiting for an allotment place...?
  10. Tuned into this thread last Saturday morning and it set me up for the weekend!! Hoping that tomorrow morning [sat] there will be another great tune to get me going... From a working class northern girl who morphed into a middle class ED woman sometime in the 80s ...any help would be greatly appreciated. ps... and my dad raced pigeons. not personally.
  11. marymac...such a refreshing view of the situation in comparison to the...."my child would not feel safe watching strangers loitering outside", "in front of my windows where my child lives" hysteria.
  12. I agree with Sue. Unless the house details say 'newly rewired' I think you sometimes have to take a property as is. How about asking the vendor to go halves and this financial arrangement can be factored in by your solicitor to take place at completion? Then you don't have to go down the 'reducing the offer' route, the vendor might feel more inclined to say yes, and you have a contribution to improving your property which, in return, will increase in value for YOU to benefit? The vendor might be seen to be in a position of strength but he might not want his emigration plans spoiled by a such a sum of money.
  13. Beas didn't get included.
  14. Don't believe this isn't a wind-up. Ask for help deciding between East and West Dulwich then announce... "In the interim our offer on a small (~55sqmt) 2 bedroom flat near WD has been accepted at ?400,000. Its a ground floor garden flat. What do you guys think? Regards - A & N" "WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?"..... My vote is on a bored or mischievous EDForumite. Either way, its been entertaining so far.

  16. You don't have to fall in....maybe turn your bin on its side to reach the contents at the bottom?
  17. You only need one thing...a magic eraser sponge [supermarkets/amazon/lakeland, etc]. They will change your life! Removes just about anything from anything. I cleaned my white leather bag with one but also have some white vintage plastic chairs and they now look like new. Grimey paintwork, rubber edges of trainers, woodwork, floor tiles, you name it. Totally addicted! I could write a poem....! :0)
  18. Cella....I still want to know what the police said about you taking the photo of the man before you challenged him... Did they think it was a good thing to do....yes or no? Because, personally, I think that it was a very provocative thing to do, whether the pi**ing against the wall was right or wrong.
  19. Cella...what did the police say about you taking a photograph before challenging him? Did they think its a good idea? Did they reprimand you? guess I am looking for official guidance on the matter.....
  20. ?I could park freely three years ago and now I find myself circling the streets looking for a space. It won?t be long before the council sets up resident permit parking, at which point the area can proudly declare, ?I?ve arrived?.? ...and at that point, I'm outta here.....
  21. How long are we going to be taken in by Prunella_Gatsby? Are you Jeremy Clarkson?
  22. Wow. Just want to add a bit of support for you, charlesfare.
