The one thing I have noticed about house prices historically. When they're going up everyone seems to think they'll go up forever and when they're going down everyone seems to think they'll go down forever - then it changes and everyone forgets there previous thinkings.

If the choice for parliament is Norway Option or No deal .. I think the majority is Norway. One thing - Merkel is not history. She's got another 5 years I'd say.

I still think Russia - but every time I see the map with Porton Down right up close, I wonder if there's a rogue employee or rogue group involved, it just seems so close (but maybe Russia planned it that way). Maybe even Prince Charles was the target this time (I note his visit was a week before)

I'm not so sure they're plunging (mine hasn't yet) - first time buyers and shared ownership would be the main buyers (and they still have incentives to buy) - the flats falling are the super executive ones worth a million. Edit: I suppose what I live in is on the cusp of social housing -

I re-use bottles of water (or Indian Tonic Water) for holding tap water (they last for a while) My Buxton one I've used for a few weeks at work has a recyclable logo.

Help meaning lend money, help get home, phone emergency services etc - surely that's what people do. Interesting to know who would tackle the mugger (I've seen passers by do that - but it takes a certain kind of person) -

Robert Peston claims Theresa May's 3rd way is a softish Brexit (Brino) with complicated solutions that break up the 4 freedoms. Already been rejected by the EU before the cabinet have even discussed it so it seems as more Cakeism. Edit: LOL beaten to it :)

But you can't put your life on hold for ever I suppose.

First time buyers are OK (they get relief up to 500K) - it's 2nd home owners and expensive properties that are hit. 2nd home owners have been hit hard - and the government is looking for money for the NHS this autumn too.

Even Zoopla is now saying prices have been falling for 2 years. That's about how long they fell for IIRC after the crash in 2008. You never see the downturn or upturn come until you've past it though and we've got Brexit.

Wonder if the vendor was just not very good at selling. My old well used iPhone 6+ has 72% battery and buttons are awful :)
