Anyone get caught out. I got my VISA Debit card and my Mastercard Credit declined on Thursday night - before this issue became well known on Friday afternoon yet I'm sure it was linked but you never know - two cards declined in one night :). My debit card worked when I put the pin in and in the cashpoint. Apparently when declined the cash is still taken out in some cases.

But the government denies there being any links whatsoever between for instance benefit cuts and suicides (which to most people would seem a sensible link) - so either they know they are using statistical methods and lying or they don't know what they're doing. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/may/13/suicides-of-benefit-claimants-reveal-dwp-flaws-says-inquiry

Stream to the cloud - then you check your home from the office (or wherever) and camera also automatically alarms you (or police) of presence maybe to catch them in the act.

Just got handed a leaflet at Goose Green from SNARL. Says there has been an attack by the Croydon Cat Killer (referred to as the UK Animal Killer) in the immediate area and to take care with animals.

I'd agree as probably to small to bother with curved. Should be Ultra HD and HDR these days

Otherwise known as Tommy Robinson. It's out in the open now, sent down for 13 months (10 months for this contempt of court and 3 months suspended activated from the last time). Hundreds protesting outside Downing Street and 500,000 have signed a petition for his freedom - but surely it's the law, he pleaded guilty and he had it coming. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/tommy-robinson-jailed-contempt-court-facebook-live-video-stephen-yaxley-lennon-a8374121.html

Vastly inflated commercial event in P Rye Park
JohnL replied to Lee Scoresby's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I think this thread was a good example of the forum - as it shows initial worries were unfounded and an event that is well planned and policed is welcomed by local residents. If I was 'thisisgala' I'd save it :). -
FBI request to reboot your router, seems legitimate to me

It's called VPNFilter and Snopes confirms. https://www.snopes.com/news/2018/05/25/fbi-warns-routers-cyber-attack/ -
Aww feel a bit sad - never really felt any hate from Louisa personally (I don't know what class I am - I work, but I get paid OK to do it, but I spend it irresponsibly)

Congrats then - seems it was very well organised. I don't think we can place age limits on these things - you're as young as you feel :) if anything the streets were quieter than for a usual bank holiday. -

I remember doing some door to door at that age to get some pocket money between university years - and it was just embarrassing - nobody brought anything and half of them laughed at me :)

Actually they are the vulnerable one I'd think - the perfect target of a n'er do well is someone who thinks they're scamming you.

The fittings are well done (IMHO) But for some reason it's not a pub I go to regularly - more likely to pop into the Commercial or Florence

There's a louse that eats it apparently. Released in some test areas. You do wonder if that's the way to go though - the insect might be worse. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4546960/Plant-eating-insect-finally-kill-Japanese-knotweed.html

Someone managed to take 4500 out of mine at a bank in Islington - over the counter last year a month after I had my cards stolen and after all were cancelled. Refunded of course (and I'm told now they refund whatever happens these days so no-one should worry) but how did they do it - bank didn't tell me LOL. Edit: and even scarier some guy turned up at my flat pretending he needed my signature for a letter which should just have been posted through - sure it was linked.

Changes to your train times from Monday
JohnL replied to A Cinderella Line's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
After two days of more or less not too bad by Govia Thameslink they seem to have had a cancelathon today.
