Hi, I'm looking for a regular, reliable, weekly cleaner, for 2-3 hours per week, on Monday or Thursdays only. I live in East Dulwich. Thanks.

Horray! Planning has passed and a new EAST DULWICH CINEMA will definitely be opening soon. Build it and they will come. This has been a true dream come true and I'm sure it will benefit the whole community at large. What a great amenity we now have in Dulwich for all of us to enjoy!

East Dulwich Picturehouse...the stuff that dreams are made of...a true dream come true. We've passed planning, build it and they will come. Let's just hope that building starts soon and everyone get's their memberships in. A Community Cinema for the whole Community, what a great amenity to the area!

Ha, ha...too true..but great to have the arthouse option isn't it? And different programmes for the whole community?...Also,much better than having a tacky old multiplex stinking of rotten popcorn and the rest..

Yes. A Dulwich Picturehouse would be great wouldn't it?? No one would lose out! And everyone in the community would benefit having a reputable and respected cinema chain that's already a success all over the UK. Just think about it... Saturday Morning Picture Show programmes for little kids, Slacker Clubs for teenagers, Silver Screen for pensioners with free tea snd biscuit and good, quality films for the rest of us Dulwich lot...not forgetting the great Sky Arts,Opera, Theatre, Museum films Picturehouse Cinemas now put out...fingers crossed! I would never leave East Dulwich either!!

CINema please! Bit of arthouse, mixed in with mainstream, sprinkled with silver screen and kids films, topped off with teenage slacker films. Two words Picturehouse Cinema...problem is where? -

A picturehouse cinema...with a Japanesse, Italian, cheap French or whatever other victuals and nice wine to go with -
I think this would be a really excellent idea for local shops, homes wanting babysitters, builders, tutors and all sorts of employment you need to be local. With teenagers in the house, this would be good to get them looking as well!!

Does anyone out there know what is the latest development with the Lordship Lane police station? Is it still be used as temporary accommodation for the Community Wardens?
