  8. We are a family of 4 (children 10yr and 12yr) looking for a short term rental from June whilst we renovate our house. Looking around the Dulwich /Gipsy Hill area.
  9. Are these kittens still available?
  10. Picalilli cafe at Surrey docks farm is very family friendly and you can park for free outside.
  11. We can also recommend Under The Willow, it's a lovely nursery.
  12. Mel has just made me some fabric roman blinds- beautifully made and very reasonably priced!
  13. We've done it with Ryanair and didn't have a problem.
  14. We are in the process of buying a house and we've found that there is a possibility of land contamination. The report is very vague so we are not sure what to do next. Does anyone have any advice? Would this put you off when buying a house? We are concerned that this may affect resale in the future.
  15. Does anyone have experience of Under The Willow nursery in Dulwich?
  16. We recently took our Phil and teds to NZ on Singapore air. They were fine with us taking two bags for the buggy as we had the car seat attachment and a travel cot. They didn't weigh the bags as you can take them to the gate so we could even fit a few "extras" in!
  17. There are a couple of vacant shops on Camberwell Church Street near the end of Camberwell Grove, including what used to be Paul's Olive Shop. It would be good to see some nice shops here- Camberwell has gained some nice bars and restaurants recently, but it's not great for shopping. I think the area could easily support a fishmonger, butcher, bottle store, gift stores, cafes, antique/furniture stores etc, but instead we have endless hairdressers, takeaways, and convenience stores. Does anyone know of someone looking to rent who can improve our selection of shops?
  18. Thanks Renata, I have also signed the petition. Like others I have been looking into this recently, I understand extending the bakerloo line is listed as a TFL long term strategy for review post 2020. It would be nice to see it made more of a priority, it is incredible that there are no zone 2 underground stations east of Brixton / Oval / Kennington. Now there is a tube extention going to Battersea! Hard to see why this should be a priority above Camberwell apart from the obvious - funding.I also note that the preferred route seems to be via New Cross/Lewisham, despite already having reasonably direct routes into the city via the east London line / DLR. What else can we do to make the Camberwell/Peckham route happen? Steve Waterman
