  4. Hi, Yes we had a similar experience on Saturday night, thieves had investigated our bikes but they were locked up, the same evening our neighbour lost a couple of bikes. They seemed to scout around 3am and returned again at 5am, these are roughly the times the thieves were caught on a neighbours camera, the camera footage wouldn't be useful for identification as it was too dark. It's really annoying and unsettling to have people enter your space, have had a bike stolen 2 years ago. I hope you get your bike back. All the best. Nikki
  5. Hello, We have just discovered one of our bikes has been stolen, we live just off Peckham Rye near the Gardens. Could have happened anytime this week. The bike was kept in our back garden. It is a lovely burgundy/brown Bridgestone ladies bike with a black metal basket, imported from Japan so lots of the labels on it are written in Japanese. Just in case someone comes across it. I've had it for 8 years, very sad.

  7. It's about time I actually wrote a reccomendation for Yvonne's yoga class, it is a very personal thing to find the right yoga teacher, and with Yvonne this is what I found. I have had my best yoga experiences in her class, she is an excellent teacher. I have learn't so much about yoga, because Yvonne is very passionate about yoga but yet comes across very relaxed in her classes. I think she really believes in the benefits of the practice and she works at making it a very enjoyable experience for all levels.
  8. Thank you Margaret for another great cut, I would absolutely reccommend your service, I've had quite a lot of positive comments about my hair, not used to that, and I will definitely be calling on your expertise again. And thanks to the forum as that's how i found you.
  9. I would recommend Eos Dance classes, my 3 year old loves the ballet class, she's shy and I've been pleasantly surprised how she's taken to the class and teacher. And I was very impressed with the quality of what they learn, it's a great way to explore classical music with movement.
  10. I am starting some drawing sessions, the idea would be for small groups up to 4, to meet in a museum or other space, weather permitting. The sessions will reflect ideas and methods explored on Foundation where I teach, the aim would be for those attending to find new ways to explore drawing and confidence to continue on their own. I have 12 years teaching experience, teaching on the Foundation Diploma. The first session is happening on the morning of Saturday 5th July, meeting at the Horniman museum, the class is ?20 for two hours, I have 3 more spaces available for this session. Please get in touch if you are interested in this date or future dates, or would like to discuss any of this. Many thanks Nikki
  11. I second the suggestion for the 'Falafel' place in Camberwell, you'll find long but fast moving queues most lunchtimes. It is the best Falafel around by far. To be honest when I eat out in camberwell, where I sometimes work, it's my first choice, so addictive.
  12. I'm a Foundation tutor with 12 years teaching experience, teacher training, and with MA qualification. I'm planning to start some drawing classes of a different nature, in a location, either a museum, public space, interesting location... The aim is to explore drawing as a way of thinking and to enjoy it fully. To help you feel confident about drawing and to understand how drawing can function, and become a personal means for expression. I'm hoping to run the classes to a group of no more than 4, at the weekend for perhaps 2 or 3 hours. And whilst I test out how long I wish to run the class and such decisions, I'm thinking of running some free classes and looking for some willing participants. If anyone is interested please send me a PM. It doesn't matter what level you are. Many thanks Nikki
  13. Hello, I would love to have a birthing pool, I'm due in September and hoping yours is still available, and I already know a lovely lady who'd need it after me. Do you still have one, or am I too late?
