  1. Will try to get there by 1 but cleaner came late so bit tricky... Come for half an hour Nat! Or ask aunt to be a bit later?! X
  2. Darn, tempted by cinema but have to be in to show new cleaner the ropes... So I can come to EDT just after 1 assuming all goes well and subject to naps etc Jude x
  3. If Lizzie booked up try Elaine (tho she equally popular but I had to reschedule my appt today at 10.30 so you might get lucky)... She is fab and They both worked / trained at the OCC which is like the Mecca for baby osteos! I went there first time round when it was in clerkenwell and they were amazing. The key is to get an appt with someone good ASAP as its the feeling of helplessness that I found hardest Good luck Jude
  4. See you at the Rye pub then... If we don't drown I this weather. I fancy the film too Fi but fear Maddie would not comply. Will Rosie? X
  5. It's that time of the week again... Anyone fancy a meet? How about the EDT given the weather? Jude x Ps or anyone have a bright idea?
  6. Elaine Ashton at dulwich therapy rooms is lovely. If nothing else, your baby has a relaxing hour being handled by a caring calm professional and I found it helPed with my babies' reflux but also general well being
  7. Hi all, my nearly four year old has attended the last three sessions (10.30am at the Florence, run by Tippitoes i think) and she really enjoys the class. No problems being left and actively asks to go again. It's so rare to find a good class for the tricky 3-5 age group and on rainy days its a great way to entertain. I would hate for Victoria not to be able to continue if not enough attend so am recommending here! Of course, taking a risk if it ends up being full when we pitch up late as usual... Jude Ps absolutely no affiliation to tippi toes...!

  9. But I think it would be lovely in a home setting and crafty cooks etc I think covers a wider age group? I think you could charge about ?5+ ... Go for it!

  14. If money no option, I fancied brushed concrete...
  15. Just had our kitchen done ( white gloss) and have used white quartz with a little sparkle in it (!) and it looks great and really easy to keep clean, hard wearing and cheaper than corian etc... Fine with kids ... Got it through dulwich kitchen design. Good luck!

  20. Another week, another meet up? Looks to be a nice day... Plough again or PR park (cafe)... Or somewhere entirely new? Off on holiday next week but when back will need to host a meet at ours now the builders have (almost) finished to say thank you for putting up with my tales of woe! Jude x
  21. Hi... My daughter (2nd child) has just turned three months and until a few days ago would only sleep in the day for 25-30 mins and only in buggy or on me or on daybed. When not asleep she screamed if in the buggy or car or on a mat etc. Made doing anything a nightmare especially having a three yr old to get to nursery etc too. she has some reflux which accounts for part of it (worth propping up bed etc in any event) but also I think it is a phase which a lot of babies go through. Not easy as they are knackered as a result. Fingers crossed but for the last few days she has taken to doing one big sleep lunchtimeish in addition to cat naps (still in the buggy and you generally have to be out) and can 'cope' better With being in the buggy awake for short periods. Who knows if it will continue but hoping it does and I do think as their tummy matures and they hit the 12 week stage babies seem to settle a bit more so hang in there! It does make the EASY routine tricky though so I just try and adopt the vague idea of it ie generally feed then activity before sleep but it often goes to pot and I am more relaxed this time round about that (or more knackered?!) Now, if we can just master sleeping through the night...! My older daughter slept through at eleven weeks but screamed all evening with reflux etc so worth remembering all babies are different and they all get there in their own way. Use a routine to keep you sane if it helps but don't beat yourself up when it goes wrong (I sobbed first time round reading the baby whisperer holding a screaming non Angel baby!)
  22. Lovely... Planning to go to plough then unless clamour otherwise! Big garden and big inside if need to escape sun 12ish? X x x Jude
  23. Hello all and hi Rachael Looks to be a scorcher on Thursday ... Might I suggest picnic in PR or if we are all feeling lazy, the Plough opposite dulwich library as then we could scoot to dulwich park after? LOok forward to seeing a few of you Jude x
