  2. It's on the corner of Northcross Road and Fellbrigg Road, behind DML builders. Looks nice, good luck to them.(tu)
  3. thanks, it's nice in here but best that i don't swig from the bottle, you might katch something.
  4. Kel, are you accepting Mikes offer?:))
  5. Perhaps, or maybe an estate agent, are there any agents on the edf that can tell us how business is going?
  6. macRoban, to my knowledge the petition was set up by Mr b, the pharmacist at Macy's then taken round by BARA but again i could be wrong. I don't think the pharmacist will be staying on, Michael.
  7. My hunch is that there will be some changes.
  8. This was a one/two store owned business (to my knowledge) and guess who has bought it? Yes a chain, Lloyds pharmacy. They seem to have many stores, is anybody familiar with what changes could take place here?
  9. Not sure about foxtons car eating bushells car but witnessed today ludlow car fighting foxtons car for a space.
  10. I am going to start another thread on another local shop that has *gone*.....
  11. macRoban a wise elder and knowledgable phenomenon.
  12. All the way up from southside lighting down to Booteeki shops are not just selling up but CLOSING DOWN. ED is densley populated with lots of money around but what is going on? Is the market correction on its way? Perhaps. MacRoban, speak.
  13. Thats bad news, with the post office to follow. Melbourne grove just doesn't have the foot flow needed unless it's a specialist place like the hair and beauty salons.:-S
  14. Can't believe that officer in Lozzy's short film, outrageous.
  15. They do tend to overvalue but saying that alot of clients are happy and have achieved the price.
  16. BellendenBelle, I think southside lighting up at the plough may be looking to re-assign their lease but i could be wrong.
  17. Nice job but really overpriced as people here have said, prices are coming down...
  18. Hi Gemma, i agree its an awful experience being burgled. It happened to me once and was shocking, afterwards i upgraded the security in the house and guess what, the buggers tried to get in again but couldn't, just as what has happened in your block of flats, if they know it's easy they will return. Use the deadlock everytime i would say and upgrade your security. If you didn't know already, Callow locksmiths on Lordship Lane provides security equipment and services, oh and buy a shotgun, theres a shop on Lordship Lane that sell 'pieces'. :)
  19. macRoban i disagree that it would be a suicide pill. The busy restaurants in the area could repay that premium back in a small number of years plus profit, that's why they are valued so high. Remember the Tulip being just a working mans cafe' sold for ?130k, leasehold 26k p.a including the flat above. There are other expamples i could give but i would be here all day. :)
  20. erm, which chip shop are we talking about?
  21. MacRoban, these are east dulwich commercial prices, i think its reasonable for a brand new lease.
  22. Good idea james, i think her edf name was kat.
  23. MacRoban, you missed this one ( or has this been posted already?) Very good location for a restaurant but i wonder if a chain would be interested. Hindwoods Hunter Payne
  24. Welcome to the forum leastdullwish.:)
