Hi, Does anyone have any recommendations for a supplier for reproduction cast iron radiators? I'm currently going round and round in circles comparing BTU's and varying dimensions!! Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi- I have some scrap copper pipes and radiators that I would like to get a bit of cash for. Does anyone have recommendations for scrap metal merchants who will come to the house to quote, pay and pick up?

Just wanted to add a recommendation for Giulio. I started training with him when I was 10 weeks pregnant in a bid to safely keep fit and avoid too much weight gain. I trained with him until 37 weeks pregnant- I have since had the baby and was back to my pre-pregnancy weight within 3 weeks. I am sure the training really helped and it certainly helped me mentally particularly in the later weeks. I would definitely recommend training with Giulio to anyone who is pregnant or trying to get back into shape after a baby.

Definitely Giuilo Scala. I've been training with him for the last 8 months to keep fit during pregnancy and will go back to him as soon as I can after the baby is born. I train at east dulwich fusion. There are loads of recommendations for him on here!

Head to our shop in Soho, the Rapha Cycle Club... It will be an amazing day if last year was anything to go by! Failing that I'm not sure, the EDT may be your best bet as they have multiple screens and Eurosport is free to air... You can but ask!!

Not sure of the name of the shop but the surveyor of meats name was George Abbott and the butcher James ridgewell

Ok, I admit to being a bit geeky but I have looked at what 38 lordship lane was back in 1891 and 1901 on the census. In 1891 there was a 'surveyor of meat' living there and in 1901 a family of butchers. I couldn't see it in 1881 so assume it was built after then? Maybe you could go with a meaty name? The butcher or the surveyor of meat?

Hi Zedd, I recently applied for a dropped kerb and found it impossible to find info on the website. I called around the houses and eventually ended up with Chris Johnson as Drxyster suggested though I have a different address: LBS Highways, Asset Management Business Unit, Copeland Road Depot, Blackpool Road, Peckham, SE153SN ahve to send a letter with a photo or drawing of your house showinbg where you want the kerb to be dropped and including your contact phone number. I havent actually heard back yet but only posted the letter on Sunday so am waiting with finger crossed. Unfortunately I did not note down his phone number when I spoke to him. Hope this helps!

We have recently bought a house which has been water damaged by a leak in the loft 12 months ago. There is quite a lot of black mould in a number of the rooms and also mould on most of the rafters in the loft and the floor joists. We are stripping the walls back to the brick where the damage is greatest and also removing all of the plasterboard ceilings and walls which have been damaged. As well as the water damage there is some evidence of damp in some of the external walls which was shown up on a survey we had prior to the leak. We are looking for a company who can provide a damp survey and who will also be able to advise on the water damage. If anyone has any recommendations for us then please do let me know!

I believe they went through the planning process? So complaints can only be made if they broke the planning decision. There had been a rejection to widen and then they merely got two dropped kerbs. There were neighbour complaints on the application but it was passed. EDIT:- Application added 12/AP/2685

I would recommend pickwicks. We sold our house in west Norwood through them and bought from them too in east dulwich. The purchase took a year due to untold issues and I found them supportive throughout. We were literally on the phone every day for 12 months and I wasn't always easy to deal with!
