Much the same as the `champion Hill system 1 hour or so busy during rush hour and then empty all day long. But forcing all traffic to take a long round the houses route for no reason. Lived there for most of my life never a problem. The reason as stated above have screen will change everything. Again one has to ask the question who lives there?
-
Does anyone have the same problem. I am 79 and have sent my licence renewal form to the DVLA on the 21st October 20 which they have received. I have just received a letter from them them dated 22 December 2025 today saying my licence is with their Drivers Medal Department and will be processed as soon as possible. This follows my telephone call to them after three weeks from the October date as I had not received my licence back as per their time frame. I also followed this up mid December after finally getting through but did not get any confirmation as to what the situation was. Is this normal practice? On the 7 January 2026 I will be unable to drive as my licence has not been sent back. I have no medical issues and meet all the requirements with no problem as per previous renewals in fact nothing has changed health wise.Their the letter states if they need any more details from me, they will contact me directly. Why has it taken 2 and a half months get get this far? Is this some sort of ploy to get older drivers to finally give up their driving by making life difficult as possible. Has anyone else experienced this. Read Medical not Medal.

If you were in your late seventies early eighties, lived and grew up in in the area and house for most of your life would you like to move to a strange area where you know nobody. The world now is turning into a sad and cruel place.

If true I was told that the new swimming pool at Canada Water is also closed and will not open until end November/December due to problems.

How many of these deaths or injured were caused by cyclists not adhering to the rules. Do the figures show this? -

If the clicking noise means it has been jacked and can heard why do the police not arrest the riders. Make the parents pay the hire charge.

St John's and St Clement's Primary School Street

Why should Southwark bother to close Bellenden Road. They seem to dig it up every other week which does the job. but if you are silly enough to pay around 1 milllion for a 2 up 2 down you need some consideration -
Would there be a queue at William rose if there was another butchers?

Above duplicated here

Back on original route as mentioned but Bellenden Road stop closed and still a lot of work to do. Traffic lights. Nearest one open Copleston Road. Not sure about the one at the bottom of Chadwick Road by the car park. Not sure why they have undertaken all this work as there was no need.
-
Just walked through Bellenden road ,traffic light controlled cars in single file, no P13 as there looks to be much more work to allow the P13 to use this part of the route. Looks like being a long time. Road narrowed a great deal. Someone said is this the end of the P13 could well be. No response from Southwark Council on this Original notice . from TfL "BELLENDEN ROAD, SE15: From 09:00 Monday 20 February until 19:00 Friday 24 February, ROUTE P13 is on diversion between Edgar Kail Way and Rye Lane in both directions via Dog Kennel Hill, Grove Vale, East Dulwich Road and Peckham Rye. Northbound buses are missing stops from/to Pytchley Road and Blenheim Grove."

Plus they are asking you to pay almost 6 weeks in advance. In my case my permit expires on 31st March. -
Agreed that webpage is really useful. This is the kind of information that Cllrs or TFL could have posted as info on the forum.. Which have been worth its weight in gold. Thanks
-
Tried following your info, I must be thick TfL info a joke.

A friend of mine sent this email to his local Cllr. Makes a lot of sense to me. No response , suspect not action will ever happen. The P13 is a valuable and very necessary bus route to many many people. "Dear Cllr Ali Could you use your exalted position as Deputy leader of Southwark Council to post on the Dulwich Forum when the P13 is running or not running. Perhaps you or one of your staff could have a call on or prior to bus strike days from TFL to enable them or you to post on the Dulwich Forum if there is a bus to serve the local residents. If the p13 is not running many people, who you represent are marooned unable to get to the shops. As local Cllr perhaps you could do this simple but important service. Is that not possible? I look forward to hearing from you."

Grove Vale (no longer) closed off to all traffic

Having many of the roads closed off will not help traffic go else where. -
