Davis smashing the bar a minute into the second half confirmed this. Wrongly disallowed goal too. Could have a should have been more.
  2. What part(s) of ED is this getting introduced to?

Instead of relying on others to give glowing feedback, why don't you try it yourself. If you went on other people's feedback all the time you'd never go anywhere as I doubt that any establishment has 100% customer feedback - go on, take a chance. I've been in and out of The Plough over the last 3 years and have never had a problem.
  4. I'd 8-2 be an Arsenal fan right now. Although I guess the signing of Arteta is quite pleasing.
  5. Ditto. Car crash TV.
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14495327 Find the post-it in the middle with the large word "Change" on it... Go one right, and one up!!! Someone thinks highly of Peckham!!

  10. Did anyone see the pictures from behind the building on fire?? I hope that was people escaping and not scummy criminals going into the building to loot and steal.

  13. Sky News now talking about Peckham and showing pictures of burnt out bus...
  14. Just spoke to a friend who got off the train in Peckham to walk up towards Nunhead... said there were a lot of people milling about and there was an unusal atmosphere... shops closing up and putting their shutters down. Said he wanted to get out of the area pretty sharpish.

  16. I knew it started with a B and ended with an A!
  17. Yup - lost one nil. Your dream was correct! Nearly as bad as Strachan's first competitive game in Europe when Celtic got horsed 5-0 by Braga!!

  20. Rode by at about 7.30 and the road was still taped off... the car was in a mess. Looked to me like it had rolled at least once, if not more. Hope the driver/passenger got out ok.
  21. It's important that you inform your broker of all incidents of damage or loss, however small, and even if you do not make a claim for them. There have been cases where insurance companies have refused to meet claims because the driver failed to disclose previous incidents. ? You must tell your insurance company about the accident, even if you do not intend making a claim, as you will always need to report and incident. Your broker can advise you about whether you should make a claim or not. http://www.biba.org.uk/CarInsuranceAdvice.aspx I assume the second part could also be attributed to break-ins and not just accidents...

    Fishing

Any anglers on here recommend a decent place to fish within say 50 miles (South) of London? Also, anyone know any fisheries that hire equipment? Not fished for a while and fancy getting back into it but don't fancy shelling out a wedge on some expensive gear for it to not get used if I don't fancy it again...
  24. Missed this by about 15 minutes I reckon... drove along the Embankment just before 8am and it was fine.
