Just spoke to a friend who got off the train in Peckham to walk up towards Nunhead... said there were a lot of people milling about and there was an unusal atmosphere... shops closing up and putting their shutters down. Said he wanted to get out of the area pretty sharpish.

Rode by at about 7.30 and the road was still taped off... the car was in a mess. Looked to me like it had rolled at least once, if not more. Hope the driver/passenger got out ok.

Any anglers on here recommend a decent place to fish within say 50 miles (South) of London? Also, anyone know any fisheries that hire equipment? Not fished for a while and fancy getting back into it but don't fancy shelling out a wedge on some expensive gear for it to not get used if I don't fancy it again...

Missed this by about 15 minutes I reckon... drove along the Embankment just before 8am and it was fine.
