It's starting to get boring the amount of times we play each other... it could be 7 times this season if the Scottish Cup game at Ibrox is a draw. It dilutes it a little (some may say that isn't a bad thing)... wish we could have a larger league and back to playing twice a season in the league.
  2. It is in the current bun, but apparently, Torres has put in a transfer request.

But you're right, the SPL is very poor. Scottish football is going no where quickly.

  5. Today Mrs SCSB79 and I took a wonder down Lordship Lane. Traffic was absolutely mental, cars skidding all over the place, cars sliding into one another, buses parked up all over the place... Then we spotted one old Mercedes chugging it's way up the hill by Townley Road, aided by 4 adults pushing the car... we just assumed it was 4 nice people, helping the driver of the old Merc get up the hill. However, on closer inspection we looked into the car and saw what could only be a 10 year old boy at the wheel, being instructed by (I'm guessing) his Dad, who was helping to push the car, on how to accelerate and to "keep it going son"!!!! Highly illegal, but bloody funny.
  6. Same again please Rangers:
  7. Why use google when you have the power Of the EDF at your disposal?!
  8. Need to get to paddington for just after 6am tomorrow. When will the tube start running from E&C up to P'ton?? Cheers.
  9. "The laws of Qatar tolerate alcohol to a certain extent. However, the few bars and nightclubs in Qatar operate only in expensive hotels and clubs, much Distribution Company, the only importer and retailer for alcohol in Qatar. Under Qatar's Sharia, it is illegal to show alcohol or be drunk in public." Source: wikipedia.
  10. Has anyone attempted getting back from the City (Fenchurch St area)?? How far are the buses going, are the trains running ok?
  11. Hi - can anyone point me to the website for BH? I am sure we have looked at it before, but now when googling, nothing comes up. Thanks, SCSB79
  12. Is it snowing back in ED at the moment?
  13. Our place must be the only employer that states in their employee manual that no one is allowed to work from home????!!!!!
  14. Guy who lives in the middle of nowheresville down in Kent is stuck. Can't get out of his house to even try and get to the station to see if trains are running. Work are saying he'll have to take it as a days holiday - which I think is very unfair. Is there any black and white "rules" on this? Or is it purely down to the companies own discretion?
  15. Lots can change in an hour!
  16. Mate just text saying there was 5inches of snow at Forest Hill... this correct?
  17. To ride home from the city or not to ride??
  18. I think a few of the Barca players had a bob or two on that 5-0 score line as there were times that a simple ball through the Real defence would have had them one on one. It was SO easy for Barca it seemed like they were deciding when to score!!! As EC said, quite possibly the best game of football I've ever seen.
  19. Well that was a lesson in football that Barcelona gave to Real last night.
  20. I'm sure I heard on Sky Sports that he has only scored something like 17 of his 77 goals away from home. Roughly 20%... not sure what these figures are like compared to other top EPL strikers, but I suspect that is is quite low. Any statos out there?

I know it must seem like it to a non-SPL follower, but this has nothing to do with Rangers. It's 100% Celtic.

And as PGC quite rightly pointed out, we've had Catholics playing for us for years and years. Long before Mo Jo. This is a football thread and like it or not, this is a football topic being discussed. I doubt MM will reply though as I'm still waiting for his response to another message requesting answers!! Ain't that right MM? ;-)
