  5. jimmy two times Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There were actually only 5 Germans in the Bayern > team and the manager is Dutch. And of the 4 "English" teams not to make it to the semi finals that the media are holding a wake for this morning, how many English players represent them, along with an English manager??!! Arsenal - 1 player (Walcott). Manager = French. Chelsea - 2 players (Terry & Lampard - can't count Cole as he's hardly played this year). Manager = Italian. Liverpool - 2 players (Gerrard & Carragher - don't think there are any more). Manager = Spanish. Man U - 2 last night (Ferdinand & Rooney - suppose you could add Neville & Scholes to that so 4). Manager = Scottish. So out of a possible 48 players and managers being from an English league, less than 20% of the staff are English. Probably not even bought with "English" money either! I expect my figures above are wrong and stand to be corrected.

  7. Utterly disgraceful performance from Rangers last night. Hopefully it is the kick up the back side some of the players need as they've looked out of sorts the last few games. Although we can't grumble too much at having only lost 2 league games all season. Uncle Walter will be fine... he's not got a contract, so won't get sacked!!!
  8. Mick - do you think TM will walk? If not, I don't think you can afford to sack him... him and his team cost you close to ?3m to secure in the summer, and will have a fair old whack of compensation coming their way if you sack them?? Rangers were truly awful last night. As soon as I saw the line up, I knew we'd struggle. I think Walter Smith expected you to spank St Mirren, reduce the gap to 7, and then we have 2 very tough games in the SPL, so he took a gamble by resting the bigger players for the SPL, thinking our reserves should have enogh to beat Dundee Utd. Gamble didn't pay off.
  9. Mick - where are the congratulations for 9 man Rangers?!
  10. time for a vigilante committee to be established... who is in?!
  11. Bunny19 glad to hear you are ok and managed to get something which may prove to be vital evidence. This is all happening very close to home for me, so hope the police do put some effort into looking into this.
  12. Jeeso - very close to home. Please do report it Dean.
  13. So letting a child do this and giving them the impression that this is an acceptable thing to do is ok? Ridiculous. There are plenty of places around that she could have popped into to use the toilets. Not on in my opinion.
  14. can't see a reason for it to be chopped??
  15. Absolutely disgusting. Was driving along Whateley Road to be greeted by the sight of a mother holding up her toddler as she pee'd into a drain at the side of the street. No matter what the circumstances, that is just not acceptable.
  16. 6 wins to championship.
  17. I did San Fran to LA on Route 1 a couple of summers ago in a big Winebago with the Mrs, her sister and bro-in-law. One of the best holidays I've ever done.
  18. 7 wins to keep the league home. Maybe less is the Gallowgate Galacticos slip up tomorrow.
  19. Not much to get excited about in that game. But I'll take the three points. Brown was unlucky, but he does need to learn not to get involved...
  20. Off to watch the game... in Adelaide, bit strange having to wait to 11pm for kick off!! 2-0 Rangers. Miller & Davis.

  23. Good solid performance from Rangers to beat Hibs and help Celtic in their quest for second place >:D< Only a monumnetal collapse from Rangers will allow Celtic to wrestle back the title.

Have you watched any games this season? 40,000 tops if you're lucky. I've always been a fan of McGee!!!!
