  1. Sunday! :-$ Not looking forward to this game
  2. Just the first 8 words for me
  3. Is transverse spine to spine? My baby girl was spine to spine at the beginning of labour and was turned during labour so the midwives said. So I guess there is still time!
  4. Surely if the van was not parked there someone else would be?
  5. Kinect just arrived for the kids. Looks pretty good to me!
  6. season ticket for Leicester City
  7. non drop
  8. We have had the dreaded letter today from school. There are head lice in your class!
  9. 2 bed on Abbtswood, but it probably won't go on the market until April / May in all honesty
  10. Add to that the other end of Nunhead too. It is actually quite hard to get out of ED at the moment
  11. Wanna buy a 2 bed house?
  12. It's very nice and very quiet!
  13. It's a nice touch and useful at football matches where there will always be some a-hole who wants to ruin it. Minutes applause drowns it out. I was at Pompey for the minutes silence for Georgie Best. His name was sung throughout it! Nice touch!

    strike

Cannot see how it is apathetic if the strike is happening? Picket lines are pretty much a thing of the past since the law was passed limiting them so much. Sadly proper picketting like during the miners strike is a thing of the past now. HOWEVER there was a big picket outside Lewisham College this morning (well as big as is legal)! They were getting many cheers and toots from the passing motorist. It has of course now disbanded so the participants can join wider organised union rallies and events across the capital! Money speaks for Money, The devil for his own, Who comes to speak for the skin and the bone? What a comfort for the widow, a light for the child... There is Power in a Union! I thank you!
  15. If it works it works. I think doctors try to tempt you into the higher does so it looks like they are doing something.

In my experience comparisons between private and public sector are useless. I earned half as much again when in the private sector as when I moved to the public, so all these private sector bods can surely afford to save for their pensions?.
  17. Global Warming - fook all I can do about it while the developing world is polluting like fook. Sorry but that's how I see it. The only reason I do not fly as much as possible is that the scumbag Tories have cut my wages by 25%
  18. What a bizarre thread. Anyone fancy a pint?
  19. Shame the stents are working imo! ;)
  20. But costly to operate when it is not needed.

    DJKillaQueen?

Does this thread make anyone else slightly uncomfortable?
  22. We are going through this process at the moment. Luckily we live equidistance between Bessemer Grange, Goose Green and DKH. Even if we hated each and everyone of these schools, (which we don't) we would still have no chance of our son going to any but these. Luck of the draw. If you want to choose, you have to pay for private education. End of. The council will try to allocate you to something on your list, but siblngs get priority, then distance is the key factor!
  23. You are pretty much limited in choice to your nearest school it seems to me. Is this a wrong perception?
  24. Depends on the outcome of this trial of course, but I begrudgingly admit he is the best man for the job. For a Pompey fan it is actually a win win situation. He succeeeds then England are succesful! He fails and he falls flat on his twitchy jowelly face! Hurrah for Harry! btw also agree about best friendly in ages. Well played (for once) England - without the prima donnas!
  25. As I understand, a certain party who recently got a not guilty in a similar trial has agreed to give evidence against HR and MM.
