  1. We stayed at explorers as well. Had adjoining room for the girls with bunk beds. They loved the pool and the soft play. One night getting back from Disney the shuttles were so busy we had to walk but it's not far. If you time it right and don't leave when everyone else is its fine.
  2. I am keen to keep our original wooden windows as the stained glass is beautiful but our house is freezing! Has anyone got secondary glazing and if so would you recommend it. I am worried it might look really ugly and we might as well bite the bullet and go for PVC double glazing. Any advice welcome?

  4. I've had a lovely afternoon tea twice at Cannizzaro house on Wimbledon common. Also Beas of Bloomsbury by St. Paul's for a hen night was lovely and great value although of course not as swanky as a posh hotel.
  5. I've been interested in getting someone to help me think about how to decorate our house too. Any recommendations of designers who can help when the furniture budget is more high street than high end much appreciated.
  6. There is muddy boots at Devonshire rd nature reserve if they like outdoorsy type stuff.
  7. Hi, we're thinking of getting our loft converted. We live in a 1930s end of terrace and would have to change the roof with a hip to gable conversion and a rear dormer to fit in the stairs. We'd love to hear from anyone who has done this, and any recommendations of builders who have experience in this, because it's a little more complex than a regular conversion - in particular we are hoping to avoid losing our wonderful stairway stained glass window, but not sure if we can fit the stairs in anywhere else. In addition, any insight into building regs and fire doors much appreciated. We're in Lewisham borough and I know there are differences to approach, but hoping again we don't have to lose our original wooden doors to replace with fire doors. THANKS!
  8. We have a Henry and I love it (not just for the smiley face, but my daughter does love that). The reason we got it is because every single builder we have ever used has had one, and they all say it's the most robust vacuum cleaner. It might not be the most glamourous of vacuum cleaners (did I just say glamourous and vacuum cleaner in the same sentence?) but it's reliable and effective.
  9. Hi sweetgirl, would be good if you could clarify in the title that this is the Oak Tree Nursery in Tell Grove. As Fatma said, there are other nurseries of the same name and would be good to ensure people don't get confused.
  10. My child goes to this nursery and we like it a lot. Everyone has different views on nurseries and would recommend you go for a visit.
