New fixed bus lane camera, Dog Kennel Hill
Mystic Mog replied to kford's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thanks to the lovely person behind me when I was trying to get as quickly as possible into the left lane to turn into Sainsburys, you've got a nice loud Hooter, hope you feel better now! Don't expect people to get a ticket so you can knock 2 minutes off your journey! Rant over!! -

Possible stray cat Ulverscroft road
Mystic Mog replied to CharlotteUlverscroft's topic in Lost, Found or Stolen
I think this cat lives in your road. In July there was a post by a concerned person re the same cat, I think they live about 71 or thereabouts, they had a table sale outside their house in that month, if that helps. Good luck. Not a good time for cats to be out with firework night looming! Great you're looking out for him/her. -

Not "purportedly" or "apparently", unfortunately sad fact. -

Yes, agree that the inhumane destruction of any creature is abhorrent. I fear we may get comments from "experts" though!

Well said Penquin, let's keep it real. I knew this dog, he was adorable.

This argument is not helping the situation and , in my opinion, is in very bad taste. No one has said the dog was deliberately poisoned, just to be aware. Dogs have been deliberately poisoned in other areas of the country, so all possibilities have to considered. If, in the likely event, it is from a broken trap then the council need to be aware and check their equipment more often. But how sad that a beautiful dog has died a sad death, lets remember that and all dog lovers be aware, as that is all the original poster was trying to ensure. thinking of you JJ. X

KidKrugar please show some concern, this beautiful dog has now sadly died, B777 is kindly spreading the word so, hopefully, other owners can be aware.

Two rescued Greek stray puppies looking for loving homes
Mystic Mog replied to anelia's topic in The Lounge
Well said Anelia, where did that come from? I'm sure you'd love to fix the terrible problems in Greece, but a bit out of context surely! This person assumes this is what Alice meant??? -

Really hope things work out for you and Leo, please keep us posted.☺

Have you taken him to the vet to check there's not an underlying cause? Definitely put a cat flap back. I hope you manage to settle him back in, it's a hard life for cats on the street.

No, not in any way distasteful. What exactly do you mean? A genuine, caring person trying to do a good deed, should be commended, not criticised! -
