  1. I've always used the online forms to order new bins, bulky waste collection and missed collections and found the service very good. I know there has been major budget cuts across many departments including job cuts/unfilled vacant posts so perhaps we are feeling the results of this. There are more cuts to come so can't see it getting any better.
  2. Highly recommend Waterloo Plumbing, 112 - 122 St. Mildred's Road, Lee SE12 0RG. Huge selection of baths, toilets, sinks, taps etc on display. Not pushy at all and lots of helpful advice. They can also recommend fitters. Ordered my bathroom suite from them and it arrived with them sooner than I expected and they were happy to hold on to it for a few weeks until I was ready to start.

  4. I 2nd Celia Hammond on Lewisham Way. They are always in need of clean bedding for their cats. If you can't get to them I'm there once a week so could deliver. http://www.celiahammond.org/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=26&MMN_position=35:35
  5. Fieldfare or Redwing? They appear in the garden in colder weather. Had flocks of them in the cold winter of 2010? 6. Small tree down on Waghorn Street, already cut up and cleared from pavement by Southwark!
  7. 64 tomorrow and he did a nearly 3 hour show in Rio last night, incredible. So not photoshopped!
  8. Glad to be able to help and good to hear she's okay. I'm around all day today so your welcome to pick up the scooter at any time.
  9. Another recommendation for Andy. He's just been round to fix a toilet seat that had beaten me. Phoned him this morning and all sorted by 2pm. Am now sorting list of other jobs. It's great to find a handyman you can trust. Thanks Andy!
  10. I knew someone who lived on Ondine Road, backing onto Oglander over 30 years ago and they often had flooded basements. It was a well known problem that affected the north side of Ondine but not the south.
