Just had a shandy there. Was a bit empty but does feel quite large and cavernous (I know it's a big pub). Not overwhelmed but will defo use it for the odd pint here and there, as I did The Vale.

Got new jeans and growing a beard. These two are not related.

Cut my toenails. Tend to neglect them as I don't see them that often. It's been all about fingernails the last couple of months, hopefully the winter months will see less need for cutting all round.

6 weeks rent as deposit and first months rent up front is pretty standard. Should be nowhere near ?7k.

This will never happen, but wondered what the EDF Xmas charity calendar would look like. In reality I would do it, in similar vain to what-the WI did, not sure the men of the EDF would be so game though. All facial identities could be hidden. I'd recreate the classic tennis poster of the 70's, hitchin my kilt up at the net. Mr January, Help-Ma-Boab. Any more?

Spent too long deflating an airbed on Sunday. I realised too late the device for blowing it up has another switch which sucks air out. I will know this for next time. Eta:airbed

It takes 5 hours and 24 mins on the train from Stirling to Kings Cross. Might do that next time instead of flying.
