  3. I like my peeve, thought the cocktails were strong enough. Very busy but staff doing a good job to please. Happy hours 7 days a week from 5 till 8, so thats a good time to apply a cheap enough base coat before moving on to other places for me.

  15. LTP, its more than your average Bear. It's got my name on it anyways, so no need to worry!
  16. Made space on my mantle piece for the Barry Barry Road Race Bear. Will be competing in a "junior" race tommorrow just to loosen the muscles and avoid any mishaps on the day! "Citius, Altius, Fortius"
  17. Bald Eagle - pints will stop you going round in ever decreasing circles. I look forward to some fair competition on saturday.

  21. With Evelkineievel re JFK pool hall. Was in there a couple of weekends ago for a late scoop. Was promptly bounced down the stairs and shunted onto rye lane. Something to do with a dodgy twenty. Ahhh. they dont do late night drinking holes like that round here anymore (although its Peckham not ED). Although the Hope further up Rye Lane has a certain appeal! Abanon all hope those that enter here.
  22. Had a few last orders in IST last night. Great to see the pub packed and giving Bev and Steve the testimonial they deserve. Spoke with Bev who was proud to have produced a place that meant much to so many different people. I will miss it........so farewell then.
  23. Once said by a friend who went on a date with a particularily well endowed Bloke: "He was a man hanging of a cock" Also like to utter "I didn't know if I was going for a shite or a haircut" when a few too many Guiness have been consumed. "I'd sooner nail my foreskin to the Eiffel Tower" if I dont particularily want to do something.
