Not necesarily PPS - I have used a couple of electricians on here for larger jobs. However when I just wanted a couple of sockets done I contacted them and several other on the forum. I either got no replies, was told the job was too small or was quoted over the top rates, one being ?150 per socket. In the end I got someone a freind had used. He was happy to come down from East London for the job and charge, what I considered, a fair rate. You don't always get monkeys for peanuts. Sometimes you get fair hardworking people.

Alan (and his father before him) had been sweeping my chimney in my previous property for 15 years. I recently moved and lost contact details. However I was happy to find him reccomended on here. Once again I called on his services in my new home. As ever he was prompt, did a great job, left no mess and his prices have changed little over the years. Highly recommended.0208 668 9914

I second all of the above. Steve and his guys moved me from a two bed to three bed in SE London. Pleasant to have around while packing and took the stress out of the whole thing.

I have also used Best Electrics - reliable and competitive. Plus they keep you informed of every stage of the works they are doing.
