Hi all, Hope I am posting in the right place. Looking for internet provider recommendations. We are based in east Dulwich near peckham Rye and we are with virgin. We lost the internet for a day or more last week and despite having devolo units to boost the signal everywhere in the house, we still have a few dead spots. Is anyone happy with their service? We have used sky and BT in the past, but again we weren?t that pleased with the service. I have family deep in the countryside who say they are now getting great speeds everywhere at home with BT?s new system. Have any of you found an improved service? Very important for us as my husband will be working long days WFH until at least September if not the end of the year. TIA Robyn

My kids are 6 and 9 and have been gathering stuff to sell to raise money for charity. We don't have many families on our street, but we have a space in front of our house where we could sell stuff. Question - do we put up lots of ads for people to come to our street, or can anyone suggest a place with better footfall where we can sell without upsetting the council or doing anything illegal? Hi, I grabbed lunch here this week - ordered a pasta alla norma, which is veggie. Penne pasta, light tomato sauce, Fried aubergine and cubes of mozzarella. I felt that the sauce was under seasoned - it needed salt and a pinch of sugar, in my opinion. But it was perfectly pleasant, the service was one, and I noticed several other Italian people who are obviously regulars which was lovely to see. I noticed they had a sign for a home-made meatballs, and I can never resist a meatball so I will definitely be going back to try them.

Always a great work out with Tom, good variety of exercises and the tunes keep you moving.

Can any seasoned parents tell me how many after school clubs is suitable for year 3? My daughter starts at Rosemead in September and I have no idea whether she'll be knackered or wishing she did she more... I think 2 is fine but there is a third that she is interested in. We need help with moving furniture around the house, in preparation for doing some renovation. We live near goose green. Jobs will require 2-3 people. We are moving around beds, chest of drawers, desks etc. We also would like to move a very large sofa bed downstairs. - from 2nd floor bedroom to 1st floor bedroom. Will involve dismantling and putting back together again. Our movers did this when we moved in so I know it can be done!! Finally we also have a sofa that we want to get rid of and another to move into a different room. Any clever movers who can help? What is your hourly rate? Should not take more than 3 hours.

I cannot find a vanity that I like. I am looking for something in dark wood, handle less, with the basin to sit on top. It needs to be quite big, about 1m wide or slightly bigger. Can anyone help?

I'd like to recommend Tom Lynas as a Personal Trainer, of Bear Drills Fitness. He's been working (separately) with my husband and I since March this year. We've both been really pleased with our progress. I have improved my core strength, I have steadily increased the size of weights I use, despite some initial nervousness with them, and best of all I've had a few nice comments from friends and family! Weekly sessions with Tom at home or on Peckham Rye have been fun, varied and of course challenging. I am really pleased that I am now maintaining a healthier weight and and that I generally feel more in control of my health. My husband has seen huge improvements in his flexibility and has also lost a few stubborn pounds. We are both really motivated to push ourselves at every session, having built up a great relationship with Tom. Tom really knows his stuff and is always willing to go above and beyond, keeping in touch with progress during the week, helping with diet, suggesting recipes, and improving technique. Not naming names, I have met with an architect who I really liked and then met someone who runs a renovations company - not an architect but highly experienced . Architect has less house experience but I felt very comfortable talking to them, and showed the right attention to detail. Renov person was less personable but seemed to have all the right experience and knowledge. Our house is going to need a fair bit of work and I am going to rely heavily on the person I am working with because we haven't done anything like this before. I am struggling to get hold of the renovation person whereas I had no problem getting hold of the architect after the meeting as it is just one person not a company. Not sure who to go with. I had decided on the renovation person but am irritated already that my main contact is hard to get hold of (leaving mugs with reception). Architect seems like a risk but I think they'd rise to any challenges our project presented.

Looking for a good group fitness class, starting 10am or 1030, ideally with great music... Any recommendations? Am doing the 30 day shred but would like to mix it up with some group stuff and daytime is easier for me. Thanks

Hi We have a large z(40"?) flat screen telly (LCD I think) that we don't want. It works but the picture has deteriorated. We bought it in 2007 - as I understand it these tv screens do just deteriorate over time, nothing to be done about it. Do you think someone would buy it? The picture is fine for daytime/bright colours but for dark/black/nighttime scenes the black bit have a green shadow to them. Want to know if I should try to sell it with an explanation of the problem, or just put it on the Items offered board? Thanks Robyn
