  1. We are going on a Nielsen holiday as we struggled to find anything that had childcare but also as you said isn't cheesy. It has amazing views on tripadvisor. It is walking distance to a village and a short transfer from the airport. http://www.neilson.co.uk/beach/greece/lemnos
  2. Hi We are after a carpenter to make us a high quality shelving cupboard for shoes etc in our hall way. If you could do this or have any recommendations please let me know. Thanks!
  3. It's fantastic and cheap too. Wish I had started when my little boy was 6 months but didn't know about it. He started at 8 months and loves it there. The ladies are so caring and lovely - brilliant facility, just wish it opened longer.
  4. Hi guys Hope you all had lovely weekends ? Unfortunately won't be able to make Friday drinkies anymore as my husband is going abroad for work . Have a lovely time and hopefully see some of you on Thursday Hannah x
  5. Sorry not back yet so won't make today ! Have fun in the sun x
  6. Hi Will try to make it but need to pop to clapham and will probably get back about 2 ish. Will give you a call tomorrow afternoon . A drink in the sun sounds great! Hannah x
  7. Hey ladies! So we have finally hopefully sorted out a date for our next night out. Friday 21st march - probably somewhere on lordship lane ? Hopefully this is good for all as it was really fun at Christmas and being a Friday means most of us will get some help with the babies the next day! Steph and Laura would be great if you can join us? Have a good weekend, Hannah x
  8. Hi all, Hope you're all well ? Defo up for meeting this afternoon after 1 pm. Unfortunately can't make the 4th as I have a wedding but go ahead and I can come another time. Can't believe it'd nearly going back to work time - boo! Look forward to seeing some of u later Hannah x
  9. Oh forgot to say my son had surgery out in Australia and the hospital gave him Aptamil from a ready made small bottle but we couldn't find these in any chemist or supermarket .
  10. Hi We did london to Melbourne and back from Brisbane in January with our 7 month old. The only place we needed to test the milk/ food was at heathrow but we bought enough from boots airside - ordered online. We found it really difficult to find ready made cartons out in Australia and none of our Aussie friends knew about it. We used aptamil out there in big tins but after much research found only the brand s-26 gold step did mini ready made cartons. These were really quite hard to get hold of but could be got in a big Coles supermarket. No Aussies knew of a facility like boots does in the airport - sorry . I reccomend the tommy tippe disposable bottles from Boots too as would be a real pain carrying loads of dirty bottles . I later discovered SMa make a ready to feed bottle where you just screw on a top . Sorry if this is confusing and rambling !
  11. Thanks very much for your replies, they were really helpful. lots to consider but hopefully we can baby proof soon.
  12. hi I was wondering if we could get some advice on stair gates as there seems to be so many out there . We would prefer not to screw into the wall but then I guess we will be left with the trip over bit! Have you found a good one ? thanks in advance. Also if anyone is selling that would be great too.
  13. Hi everyone! Anyone up for meeting tomorrow? It was quite nice at the one o'clock club last week so would be nice to go there again - unless anyone has other suggestions? It's open 1.30-3.30 so I think I will head there after baby sensory, possibly stop for coffee in the cafe. hopefully see some of you there. Hannah x
  14. Probably be there at 1.30 as I will come straight from baby sensory and maybe grab a coffee in the cafe before hand . See you Thursday ! X
  15. Hi everyone hope you're having nice weeks ?, thought I would start ball rolling for Thursday . Anyone fancy peckham rye playroom (one o clock club ) next to cafe . It's stay and play- a free session 1.30-3.30pm ? Would be great to see some of you as it's been ages ! Xxx Hannah and Eddie x
  16. We just did flights to Australia with our 8 month old. We bought a couple of new toys to keep him Entertained. The fabric books are great. We picked up milk, calpol, teething crystals food etc the other side after ordering online fromBoots. Although just realised you're off Tomo ! We also made a kind of tent thing over the bassinet using a newspaper and muslin as otherwise the lights were quite bright at times. It wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be ! Our son was better with jet lag than we were. Have a fun trip !
  17. We are going away with Nielsen holidays to lemnos in Greece as they have really great child care and babysitting evenings too . They also have an under 2 cr?che which seems to be quite rare and it's walking distance to a town. If you quote mums net they give a nice discount too as do mark warner .
  18. I can be at the nuns head probably about 1pm. see you then, Hannah and Eddie also have seen that the one o'clock club next to the cafe is open on Thursday afternoons for play. it's free so may be a good venue in the future?
  19. Forgot to say - area is booked under my nark round the side bit on the right as you come in . It's the little area like a cubby hole ! See you soon x Hannah x
  20. Don't forget the drinks tomorrow night - looking forward to a catch up and glass of wine X 8 pm at edt x
  21. Hi everyone ! Sorry not to come last week , had a manic week travelling all over the place . Would be lovely to see you again suze . I think later may be difficult for a few people because of other children and school runs but I'm happy to go with the flow ! Shall we do the edt again this week ? It was quite nice being able to let them wriggle on the blankets. Happy to go with whatever afternoon time but thinking 1pm may suit most? Would you be able to bring a sleeping Iona suze? If not maybe we can rethink . Also don't forget 5th December at 8pm for our spring babies night out at east Dulwich tavern . Hannah x
  22. Sorry didn't make this week and probably won't next week as my mum is here . Have fun and see you all soon. X Hannah x
  23. We absolutely love baby sensory with Chee. It is our favourite activity of the week and something I look forward to as well as my son . It seems to be one of the only activities that appeals to babies rather than toddlers .I'm not sure it would be the same without the enthusiasm of Chee . Each week is different and keeps both me and my son interested . So far I've introduced 5 friends to it and they've all signed up afterwards !
