At least he corrected the entire situation in his post-PM era as a Near and Middle East peace broker.
  11. See if you can a get a batch of little nematodes in and some fungi types to kill them off. Or at least dampen their spirits. Do it now to get the numbers down before (probably mild) winter hits and then again in February/March. You can re-pot or plant out as part of the process. That's what I'd try, hope it works if you do.

  14. Like more permanent traffic lights which are designed to be forever faulty, temporary lights are designed to slow car traffic in particular and encourage more of us to use public transport - especially with a new viral pandemic in play. They also tell us to use bicycles more since most bicycle lanes are thoroughly unused. This also works well for motorised two wheelers and their harmless users who are now evil if they use bus lanes. All traffic lights will always be better than roundabouts, and they will always have to be paid for again and again ad infinitum, because their procurement is based on little more than extreme obsolescence. They also act as great PR when roads need to be repeatedly dug and then resurfaced year on year, instead of doing it once properly every other decade.

  24. Police presence in the area today Saturday 21st Has anyone noticed an unusually large number of police vehicles patrolling the area today? I'm guessing it's not to do with dodgy fish, leaves on the pavement or missing cats either. Cars and vans all over the place - haven't seen a bobby on foot today (presumably because SE22 in particular is so well known for its dog-dirt) but tbh the number of vehicles in play seems to me like a firm and deliberate deterrent to something or someone. Just wondering if it's a PR operation, or is there something else more serious already happening... hope not!
