Pre-Loved Designer and Vintage Curtains
in_nunhead replied to LadyGiGi's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Hi Curtains Do you fit curtains? I have my own, but I took them down to be dry cleaned and having put them up again I just can't get them quite right. I'm happy to pay someone who knows their curtains to come and sort it out, I just need to find that person... Can you help? -
mac repair - system ten are truly excellent
in_nunhead replied to in_nunhead's topic in Request a Tradesperson
email this guy - he'll be straight back to you. [email protected] -
System ten just came round. The fix was easy so they spend some time sorting out other stuff so I got value for my hour. I like that very much. I've got four macs in this house and I'm very glad to have come across them. A good EDF recommendation (they aren't always).

I took mine down to be dry-cleaned and I just cannot get them right on the tracker - they don't meet in the middle properly! Does anyone know of a firm that can do a call-out without charging the earth? I tried the company on Maxted Road but the phone number on their website is out of order... Thanks in advance!

Every time our family has had that advice, it's gone badly. suffice to say, I paid it. Can't take the chance again, but thanks...

Are now fining anyone who stays there for more than two hours. Maybe they've been doing this for years and I just didn't know. But I thought I should pass it on. It's a ?40 fine.

it's called Frog on the Green. it's on the corner of consort and sturdy roads. the nun's head is good, though I'm sorry they lost the pool table. I'm also fond of the pyro... the ivy house has good music apparently

Try the baba ganoush. it's excellent and he makes it himself.

I'm so thrilled - they opened at the weekend, and they're on the corner of Sturdy Square and Gordon Road. Run by a really lovely fellow with his wife and small child, he says it's just a corner shop, but he makes his own pies and dips (dunno about the cakes but they look good), got a great little selection of hams and cheeses and good tinned stuff and nice salad leaves (which i'm eating right now, along with a spinach pie, the name of which i've forgotten). I think it's a great shop. And he's open till 7 so I don't have to nip into Tescos always for bits and pieces for the tea. Please go along and have a look and give this great little new business your support...
