Forget tessa jowell they are useless! I have been waiting for my son to be seen since last year October when I took him to a&e for breathing difficulties! inbetween I have made a few attempts to make appointments, various reasons why he hasn’t still been seen. Mostly due to their strict policies since covid! they basically call you back when they feel like, even after telling them you’re working & can’t answer! They’ll call a day or 2 later. if you don’t use their online service (which I don’t ) you must call in at 8am for a callback……. the whole system is unjust 🤬 I have spoken to CQC, they are also not interested like they used to be! it’s all a complete shambles! my niece works in many different gp practices/sites in her line of work, she has also told me some drs are lazy & will refuse to see patients with no appointments booked! She once saw 2 different patients on different dates whom she had to refer to a&e as they were ill…… one was elderly! (she saw them after her shift finished as she could see one was elderly, I’m not sure about the other!)

They obviously don’t know about the East Dulwich Forum!

As you may have heard the driver experienced a medical episode! such a sad situation for all involved 🙏🏽

Because they can! cyclists can knock people over or go into the backs of cars & cycle off…… until of course they do it to the wrong person 😒 many people are entitled in these times. Really sad! I personally feel you need a license of some sort to cycle on highways……. As well as insurance!

Just to add…… Forest Hill roadworks started today. 3way lights at the stn…… nightmare traffic today, tailbacks to overhill road! apparently it’s for 5 days p4 might be a better option for commuters

The new complex being built in Lewisham is due to have a 9 screen cinema! I’m sure prices won’t be much different to our local cinema It’ll be interesting to see how they get on!

I don’t know if there’s any truth in it, Yesterday someone told me there’s a petition going to stop the poundland from coming to dulwich, Does anyone know about wether this is correct or not?

I have a feeling the poundland local will be a huge disappointment & nothing like their other stores! Seeing as it’s in dulwich I think it should really be called “£5land”! Let’s see……. 😅

The worst thing is they are forcing people to use public transport which is not only getting expensive but services are getting shite! Nowadays you can wait anything up to 15 minutes on lordship lane for a bus! How is that possible where there are a few bus routes & such a great service according to tfl or khant! Unfortunately khant is being controlled by a conservative government!

Heaven forbid that Southwark put their LTN millions towards services for their residents. Like making sure the pavements are cleared of leaves in Autumn so the pavements are passable and the drains aren't blocked and Xmas trees are collected. Why should businesses pay more towards our shambolic and corrupt borough? 🤦‍♂️ I agree! Corruption all the way……… It’s those struggling to break even, (if they are?) who get penalised the worst!

Whatever the public feel this is about…. The government or councils really do not care about us! All these charges, congestion, ulez, box junctions, restricted roads etc, are nothing more than a “legal” money maker! It’s nothing more than penalising a car driver! They produce something, let everyone get used to having it then put charges on it! It’s an absolute disgrace! I drive for a living but no longer have a car as it makes no sense for financial reasons!

They are waiting to fit our water meters so they get the revenue to fix it! Once the revenue starts rolling in we should see an improvement in leak’s getting fixed! I mean, we are not paying enough atm are we?

Omg! I know this lady very well……. Always gets on the bus asking for a free ride! She never has money to pay a fare! She’s not a professional dog walker imo, it’s just a sideline money maker for her! I’ve seen her around for years……. Something about her doesn’t sit right with me

I once had bits of hand towel (blue paper towels they use to dry their hands) in my pizza. This was about 2yrs ago. Emailed them & also spoke to the store manager (fyi, a female at the time), absolute useless customer service, offered me, I think it was free cookies with my next order! Still waiting for a reply to my email…….. Useless staff altogether imo, managers no better than lower ranked staff! Someone I know used to work in that store, they told me it’s one of their dirtiest stores!

I've not seen them doing that, but I have seen old Xmas trees being blown about by the wind, at least today. I have seen the refuse guys in the past years, on lordship lane, they take the trees from gardens & put them in the road, which makes it easier for them to collect I guess.
