  1. If this question was for me, yes I did bung it in the road! I realised the council had taken the trees & placed them on pavements for their convenience, ready to be collected! I didn’t feel it was my place to request collection for something that’s not mine!
  2. It’s the council who have been chucking them on the pavement & blocking the walkways! I came home yesterday to find my neighbours tree outside my door, it looked like it belonged to me, the way it was wedged under my railings! I had to step over it to pass & I could see it would’ve made it difficult for buggies or wheelchairs to get through. When I looked around I saw other trees on the road & realised it must’ve been the council. I grabbed the tree & put it in the road & it was gone by this morning.
  3. This centre is awful in my experience, I have tried numerous times to get an appointment in the past month plus….. my son was taken to a&e due to breathing difficulties. We were advised to get him to a gp asap to get him checked out. I called at least twice to get an appointment, each time the young lady banging on about “ the way we book our appointments is you have to download an app……. etc” I told them I didn’t have the facilities to download any app. She told me everyone has access to the internet, to the point where she even directed me to the local library! I asked her how I would book an appointment from the library & where I should download the app, if on the library computer….. Anyway long story short, all these weeks later, my child has still not been seen! I’m sure you can understand I’m well peeeeeeed off! My son may well have asthma but yet downloading the app is th3 only thing they bang on about! Please report your concerns to CQC, nhs England & other authorities as this is unacceptable rubbish they keep spewing out! The surgery has not yet been rated yet & I’m sure if people report their concerns the rating will show exactly what type of service they provide!
  4. It is very important we all address our issues with CQC, NHS ENGLAND, & I would also suggest out local MP! I am currently going through a situation with tessa jowell. I’m going all out! The service is a shambles. At some point in the future I will post about it.
  5. If you’re referring to outside DKH school, it was earlier an incident took place. My colleague told me as he got off the bus to collect his children, a man collapsed. He had a heart attack. Not a good ending. Apparently the teachers were out there helping the man too.
  6. I have a permanent net on almost all my windows, I have my windows open & lights on at all hours! I have never had a moth in my house since using these nets, although on the odd occasion the minute ones can find their way in. There no point getting the cheap tacky net as it doesn’t last long. I was lucky, I bought a roll when I was in India, it’s the proper stuff designed to keep the mosquitoes out!
  7. If it’s domino’s, forget it! They don’t give a toss! I once had hand towel bits in my pizza, the attitude of the manager was shit to say the least! (The blue paper towels you generally use to dry hands with) I asked the manager if they use them in store, initially she didn’t want to tell me, but eventually told me they did! I know someone who used to work in the dulwich branch, when I told them what happened, they told me the dulwich branch was the worst for hygiene!
  8. Tall slim black guy? If it’s the same person, I find he can be rather intimidating. He tried to pounce on me once, watching me while I was in the post office. Because I had made a cash withdrawal I made sure I put the money away safely. I felt like he was trying to intimidate me, & I am definitely not a person who is easy to feel that way. When I came out of the post office he asked me for money, little me looked him straight in the eyes & said no, I don’t have any for him! Ever since then, he knows me, sees me & then looks away! He knows I’m not one to mess with 😜
  9. Of course it’s up to the schools! But no harm in discussing it It could affect many in one way or the other!
  10. James barber was part of the driving force behind the Harris primary East Dulwich Any thoughts James?
  11. The OP is nothing more than a local busybody! Unfortunately we do have quite a few in the area
  12. Times are hard right now for many people You could potentially be making this man & his family homeless! Instead of reporting him why did you not either raise your concerns with him or even put a note on his windscreen! Some people need to get a life I hope something never happens to you to disrupt your life in any way! There’s a thing called karma, be careful it doesn’t come back & bite you!
  13. I personally am not happy to move on with the times as some feel we should. I like going into the bank & paying my bills etc over the counter. The bank staff have made it difficult for me by pretty much trying to force me to use the paying in machine! I point blank told this particular lady in the dulwich branch she needed to stop being so pushy about me using a machine I didn’t want to! I also told her if she carries on like this she’d soon be out of a job as they’ll no longer require her services. Her response was they still needed her to keep the machines in order! Oh well……. I’d like to see if she’ll still have a job once the branch closes…… No she wasn’t an old skool employee, someone young & no doubt on a newer contract where she probably has few or not many rights! The future is bleak……… No banks left locally……. Goodness knows what we supposed to do
  14. https://nextdoor.co.uk/p/dbSQh4zc6RbP/c/17592243016624?init_source=search&query=Man%20using%20bin Is this the guy?
  15. Police car & uncover CID car I understand No idea about a cyclist being involved
  16. Is this not the same guy who someone took a pic of? I think the pic was on the “Nextdoor” website where this guy had thrown, I think a gate in someone else’s bin……… The complainant had the pic off their ring doorbell.
  17. These guys won?t be seeing my money??? Cashless is not for me!
  18. Is it only me who has an issue with cashless stores? I?ve noticed the two new shops above state they are cashless, which obviously means I can?t spend my cash in there! I?m very much against this cashless society we are heading into. I will definitely not be entering either of those stores! I?m well aware this is the future but I do not agree with it. Once the notes disappear we?ll have no idea what & where we are spending! People are being overcharged & not realising it. We are doomed! People need to wake up & see where this is all going. In the long term it will not be beneficial for most of us & our offspring.
  19. Whatever there is out there, unfortunately it will never have the feel of this forum! I will be very sad to see it go!
  20. I?d like to see what James barber has to say on this matter, after all he was one of the persons involved in making Harris primary happen when it clearly wasn?t needed! It?s unbelievable what councils like to waste money on!
  21. FYI, It seems St Francesca Cabrini is at risk of closing down??
  22. My cousin had an Akita who went for a family member, straight for her face! It was a family dog & used to people but I guess unpredictable I?m not a fan of dogs myself???
