I saw Brad Pitt and George Clooney in the bettuing shop on Lordship Lane. I think they were filming Oceans 14. -
In that case check out the gardening thread. That'll be right up your street.

It takes allsorts to make a discussion forum an interesting place. I don't think it should be some big 'love-in'. It needs a bit of livening up sometimes.

Sally you've got spirit girl, I'll give you that. :)

Maybe Huddlestone deserves a call up if Barry out? He's been pretty solid this season and can pass a ball and has good shooting ability.

I saw a crow attack and kill a pigeon on the pavement the other day. I have never seen this before. The pigeon was disorientated as it had nearly been run over by a car. There was a brief struggle but the crow pinned the pigeon down and killed and started to eat it. Is this behaviour typical of crows?

Fair point. Let's not forget he's got his court case coming up soon as well.

I have to hold my hands up as I didn't think Harry was capable of getting us into top four. He's done a great job and must be a consideration, along with Roy Hodgson, for manager of the year. Who would have thought Spurs would have taken maximum points from the games against Arsenal, Chelsea and City?
-
Third place is automatic qualification to group stages. 4th means you go into a play off, and there are some good teams that you can up against. Everton and Newcastle have both been knocked out at this stage before. You then automatically go into UEFA (Europa) cup.
-
Fingers crossed we'll pip the Gooners for third. We'd surely have to invite Atila back if that happens just to see the fireworks. ;-)

Gordon Brown was the only one who looked statesmanlike and had gravitas. The other two do not look like men who have the character or sufficient experience of life to lead a country. I hope people don't have short memories and forget what the Tories did to this country when they were in power.

He was a great keeper with PSV Eindhoven before us. I think Harry was on the verge of getting rid of him but he pulled a few good performances out of the bag just in the nick of time and Redknapp gave him his chance. I think he's done the same thing with Pavyluchenko. On a different note I just hope Spurs don't do their usual thing now of thinking they have somehow achieved something after this victory and going to pot for the rest of the season.

This thread is really about being a snitch. (td)

I'd be worried about someone coming in for Gomes. What an oustanding keeper he's been this season. The best in the premier league. He should be Brazil's number 1 in my opinion.

Gordon Brown is the only real and genuine bloke of the three. The other 2 are both a bit oily and smug.
-
Yes Yes Might do The BNP bloke will come across worst

Not correct. If you buy your tax disc online you get 5 days grace whilst you await it's delivery.
-
And sometimes the tax disc is in the post.

Atila if your out there.....we gave your boys one hell of a beating. >:D
-
Yes. She was a nurse in it if I remember correctly.
-
Seems apt considering she was in the Railway children. I liked her in 'American werewolf in London' as well.

How would you improve Peckham town centre?

Your right Nero. That's the only way to stop parking crime. Education...Education...Education. I really do think we need to get at the offenders when they are young. They probably have no role models because they're all from single parent families. And I also think television brainwashes young kids into thinking it's ok to illegally park. When would you ever see Noddy getting a parking ticket? He just parks anywhere he bloody well pleases. What type of example is that to set our kids?
