    The latest advert for Snickers has been banned as some viewers claimed it was homophobic. The ad shows Mr T of The A-Team fame shouting to a male power walker with tight yellow shorts ?I pity you, fool. Run like a real man?. Can anyone please explain how this ad can be deemed homophobic? I don?t associate men with tight shorts and power walking with being gay.

    There is a very remote spot in One Tree Hill (opposite Brenchley Gardens) - it's very high up and the view is amazing! There is a bench so you can sit and many people just sit their taking in the view.

    Something I always wanted to know and only remembered about it when I saw one the other day. What are those rotating circular black things that look like large petrol caps that you sometimes have on vans? They rotate even when the van is parked and no engine running.

    Age has a lot to do with people using terms that are classed as deragatory. My Grandad who is 74 says 'coloureds' to describe black people. The rest of the family try correcting him but he says the same thing, "I've said it all my life" -despite there being a whole rainbow of colours in our family! I suppose back in his day it was a term that was used a lot.

    Hi Vimike, Hi I am a fan too. It was actually Norman Beaton (the guy that played Desmond) that sung the lyrics to the theme tune! Unfortunately, Norman Beaton died around ten years ago. You can buy the Desmond?s series on DVD from Ebay if you wanted to replace your set.
