  1. Best fish 'n' chips EVER can be found at The Jolly Bee Fish Bar on Devonshire Rd, SE23. Perfect fish - clean oil, nice batter and decent chips!
  2. I used to do martial arts and sometimes we'd cover simple self defense techniques. Good one to do is try and walk about with your house keys in your hand - a potential attacker will assume you're close to your house and less likely to jump you, or if they do, a bunch of keys can make a good weapon!

  4. I saw her about six weeks ago in Barclays Bank on Lordship Lane. She was still dressed in white: white leggings, white trainers and white jacket, but she no longer wears the face paint. She has a very soft and 'cut-glass English accent' which is so surprising as you don't expect her to speak that way!
  5. No he looks fine until he opens his gob.
  6. oops! Yes Sat 10th Nov!:-$
  7. I am angry at myself for not posting this sooner, but on Saturday night (17th Nov) I came across an Alsation with a collar around its neck on College Road. We stopped the car as it was obvious he was lost as his owner was nowhere to be seen. I tried to call him over but he ran off across the road and he seemed quite frightened. We tried searching for him but couldn't see him - he'd obviously ran beyond the green areas (opposite Dulwich Park). The dog was definitly an Alsation/German Shep wearing a thick collar. If you know anyone who has lost this dog you might try ringing around the vets in the local areas or Battersea Dogs Home. I've been thinking about the poor mutt all week so if you know if he's been found can you let me know please! Thanks!
  8. Go to Forest Hill, we moved from ED from a flat to a semi-detached house last November and in less than a year our house has gone up in value by 180k. You get bigger houses, wider roads, better parking and tube line in 2010. I admit that you can't beat the social scene in ED as there is bugger all in Forest Hill but if you want value for money... Most of my family live in ED and I eat out on Lorship Lane regularly but it's only 5 mins in the car so you're not really that out of the way. (used to live in Sydenham too but not as nice as Forest Hill)
  9. Cloak, your missus gives good head
  10. Jenny, are you due on by any chance?!
  11. Heard that a man was knocked off his motor cycle and killed on East Dulwich Road this afternoon. Has this been confirmed, does anyone know exactly what happened?
  12. rumour has it that the old Walsh Glazing shop will be turning into an Ann Summers emporium! I wonder if the queue will be as long as the one outside William Rose on Saturdays?
  13. I've heard it will be very similar to the Herne which, as you may be aware, has also undergone a recent facelift.
  14. There is a vegan restaurant in Cyrstal palace called Spiritual Palace which serves its food with a caribbean twist and is absolutely delicious.
  15. Does anyone know where I can join a club that plays 'touch' or 'tag' rugby that is fairly local to ED?
  16. I've seen a lovely Turner and Hooch dog with a young couple - seen them in the Rye a few times. That mutt's got a head the size of a Rhino's - so I reckon he could easily have Clarence the Bishop's mutt
  17. Cafe Nero would be so much better without all those buggies and prams. It's like a bloody assault course trying to walk in that place. Mothers with sprogs: Can you not just find a playgroup?
