After a recent incident damaging 3 panels on my car my insurers legal agent arranged the repairs and the hire car. The cost of the hire car alone was ?13,000.... plus the charge to the guilty party for the referral.......plus the actual repairs...... I think i know why premiums are UP..

take note to police station (right by your car if im correct), it is evidence and will be used to identify the driver of the car and contact them. You will need to fill in a "leaving the scene of the accident" form, and best to try to find the person who left the note! goodluck - iv just got may car back 2 months after someone drove into it and drove off in the snow!!!!

Hi, 1. Have some friends in Hackney who had there merc estate (v similar) stolen, as was their neighbours! So does seem a popular target. 2. Had my ed flat broken into during the day, with neighbours in, lots taken, on populus street and must have had vehicle waiting. (Was a few months ago now, security upgraded...). Have been very aware of people loitering in the street now in cars or vans and have actually obv iously hussled some to move on just by looking at them and makeing a note of the details. Having discussed with the very helpful local police it is ?vident we are in a low crime are (for london) but still pays to be very aware of what is out there.. goose green end, near new sports centre construction

Bar the obvious and amusing responses to this thread... Has anyone worked out what the hell the banging noise is on Crystal Palace road (Goose Green End) every night around 10-11pm? I think it must be some drunk who looses their keys every night but it is very wierd. Anyone else heard it or know what it is???
