  1. Another recommendation - Elliot has just done a small-ish job for us (boxing in cables), the work was excellent and he was very professional. Will certainly be using him again.
  2. Slightly strange one - I can't access the forum from my home network, though it's fine when I turn wifi off and access over 4G. I've attached the page I get instead of the forum over my home network. Over my home network (through Vodafone) eastdulwichforum.co.uk points to 172.67.128.198, whereas over 4G it points to 104.28.11.13 - this seems to be the root of the problem. Any ideas? I tried changing the DNS for my home network but that didn't solve it.
  3. Are there any local fish and chip shops that accept contactless payments? They all seem to say they're cash only which isn't ideal right now. A few are on the takeaway apps but I'd rather collect in person than pay for delivery.
  4. Great effort on Landells tonight - probably every other house joined in on our stretch of the road. It was quite moving.
  5. Hmm not sure I agree. For instance I'm desperate to get rid of an office desk chair, which someone else (eg who has been forced to work from home) might be equally desperate for. A no contact collection should easily be possible, which combined with a sufficient clean of the item afterwards would make this very low risk and in keeping with the spirit of the current guidelines.
  6. Hop Burns and Black on East Dulwich Road does refillable beer flagons.
  7. The lengths people on this forum will go to to dampen down house prices...
  8. We also used Aqua Build - Robert and his team fitted a new kitchen and bathroom for us earlier this year. They did an excellent job - I would highly recommend. The work was done quickly and to a very high standard. Communication was also very good ? we got daily updates on how it was going. We had another contractor install soundproofing under the floor. The final stage of this was a rubber mat over the floor - but our very uneven floor meant it would have been difficult to install new flooring on top. Within a day (and at minimal cost) Robert and his team fixed this ? taking up the soundproofing, straitening the floor joists and re-laying the soundproofing. Overall a great experience, and we are really pleased with our new kitchen and bathroom.
  9. It looked like Mrs Robinson's had thrown up in a cow shed. In a good way. I probably wouldn't want to live there, but it's very impressive.
  10. They got a crane up pretty darn quick.
  11. Hi James What is the maintenance situation for the tennis courts at Dulwich Park? Courts 5 and 6 are getting a bit shabby - any chance of at least reprinting the lines? I realise not a huge priority but would be a cheap way to make them a bit nicer. Thanks hazwald
