Last night was great. Gutted I didn't get to meet everyone, including Ginny to say thank you for arranging,I was clearly talking too much ;-) Good luck to all the March mummies due to pop any second, seems weird that next time we see you, you will probably have tiny ones in tow!

Ooh! I am on other thread and missed there was a second timers one. I AM IN! Daughter is 2 and a bit and #2 coming beginning of May. Definitely keen to meet up.

YY it's no cringy at all, and great to go to a group where the focus isn't just on the kids. DD is 2 and LOVES it, more than the traditional toddler groups, I think. I find it brilliant for blowing Mon/Tues cobwebs away and it is very mon threatening and friendly, no one makes you sing by yourself ;-)

DD goes once a week, (she started in October) and we have been very impressed. They were really patient about settling her (I'd never left her before) and she now runs through the door and talks about her teachers and friends lots in between sessions. We found admin tricky when applying too, however I think they have recently employed a new admin person so hopefully these issues will soon be resolved. Haven't had a problem with getting hold of people since she started if that helps.

Hannah I'm quite new to ED too. Sadly I'm away that week in January but count me in for any subsequent meet ups. Hope everyone had a good non boozy Christmas! Have made up for lack of champagne by eating lots of chocolate ;-)

Yay! So pleased there are loads of takers for a January meet-up. Will be nice to have something to look forward to after the excitement of Christmas is over. Is anyone booking into antenatal classes? I'm investigating refresher courses at the moment as sure as I've forgotten everything from first time round - eek! also looking at hypnobirthing classes if anyone has any recommendations.

May I join too? #2 for me too as already have a 2 year old. I'm due on the 1st May. Kaz, I look like I've been at the cake too. ;-) Does anyone have a crazy bump that gets much bigger every evening? Weird.

Gsirett and yummers I think you are definitely on to something with the drink on the way home. I think travelling with a toddler we will need it! ;-) Looks like Gatwick just pips Heathrow but will see what the difference is with flights/times. Lane lover see your point about time of day affecting things. Thank you all so much for your advice/recommendations. It is really useful.

Just going to book some flights for the spring and wondering if it's easier to get to LHR or LGW from here? We would probably travel by cab. If anyone knows of a reliable cab company that would be great too. Thanks!
