  1. Now for sale at c750k, I suspect a bit of hard bargaining would get it for 700k, which would be remarkable value in the area @ 175k for a two bedroom flat with en-suie. But have to agree with all, the design is far from appealing especially in its position and proximity might not be ideal for young city types. I am surprised the vendor/developer hasn't tried the rental route after all this time. I'm sure they'd get 800 PCM for each unit, that would have given them them over 75k whilst it has been stagnating and ultimately becoming a prime target for squatters.
  2. I have no problem at all with muzzling my dog, which I walk off the lead 3 times a day in Dulwich Park, but as a trade off I'd want all the trikes and bikes that zoom around the perimeter to have a 5 mph governor fitted to enable them to conform with the speed limits that are clearly posted. Simply neither are going to happen.
  3. And they are supplying Franklins :))
  4. Sad to concur with the above posts, I was accosted last night on the corner of Goodrich and Dunstans at about 12.30 by two youths, one asked for the time, the other went to grab my wrist and watch as I looked to tell them. They clearly didn?t see my dog was about twenty yards behind me doing her usual nightly sniff. After a scuffle she bit one of them and I have the glove which I am taking to the police for DNA.

  7. Really sorry, I have been away since the original post. Very difficult to describe the man, but of African decent I would say, very dark skin and quite thick set/sturdy looking. He was wearing a black tracksuit and a black woolly ?beanie? type hat and possibly had a moustache. The vehicle they drove away in was an old white pick-up truck that had one of those cabin things enclosing the back. Not much to go on there I suppose, but I was quite anxious and tried to stay my distance as best possible, but I still feel we were followed for a reason, that being the dog. In reply to some of the earlier posts, my dog is a pedigree and not that common, but I wouldn?t have thought attractive to someone who was looking to use her in any dog fighting or baiting activity. Dulwichmum, I really didn?t want to scare anyone, simply thought that if I posted my experience, dog owners might be that little more vigilant.
  8. Does anyone know if there have been any incidents of dog snatching in either Dulwich Park or on the Rye recently? Reason for the question is that this morning whilst walking my dog in Dulwich Park I had a very uncomfortable experience, where I was clearly followed by a by a man showing uneasy interest in my dog and I also heard him on his mobile phone describing the breed to someone. I decided to head to the entrance on Court Lane where there were people when he quickly passed me and jumped into a vehicle that was waiting for him. Now obviously I can?t say for sure this was his motive but just wanted people with dogs to stay vigilant in case.
  9. I went last night too, and thought it was a pleasant enough place. I'm sure if their plan to offer hearty grub at reasonable prices goes ahead, they'll do well. Probably lacked a bit of atmosphere as there were only a couple of people in there, but hey it?s early days, good luck to them.
  10. Just been told possibly tomorrow late morning for water in Upland rd
