  1. Hi Greengage, Sorry to hear of these difficulties with your young person. I have PMd you.
  2. OP best of luck to you earning a bit of cash- this is a tough, tough city to live in with limited funds, as a single parent etc. You may have paid taxes previously. The time will come when you will be able to contribute more with taxes once again. Until then maybe you are in a position where you need to prioritise supporting your children. Do delete this post or do more to anonymise it though....to protect yourself
  3. First time! Fabulous! So hard to know whether to switch to IVF or not, even with no fertility issues. It is all such a gamble!
  4. I love dark humour but too soon toto Good that nobody was hurt. Nevertheless a fire is terrifying for anyone present. Plus the fact that a fire (even a small one) can easily ruin a small business and certainly causes much stress/ distress Best wishes to everyone involved toto Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I have asked them several times for hotter dishes > but they didn't have to go this far
  5. I noticed the mayhem while cycling this morning and yesterday then 3 of my cyclist colleagues commented too Peckham roads are struggling right now for sure
  6. Hello EDF, I am a Clinical Psychologist who works with clients locally from time to time. I am looking to rent a room for an hour on a weekly basis at about 7pm on Monday, Tuesday or possibly Wednesday. At the moment I'm looking to see just one client but this could extend. I have tried all of the places that I have used previously- including Dulwich Therapy Rooms, The Vale, Honor Oak Wellness Rooms. I've also enquired at a whole host of venues in Peckham, Nunhead, Brockley and Forest Hill. Everywhere seems completely booked up in the evening, or only rent out rooms in 3/4 hour blocks. Can anybody help? Maybe you are a therapist yourself that has a room that you can let? Thanks :-)
  7. Hi KHHealing, I've been trying to get in touch with you following our communication. Please get in touch asap! Many thanks
  8. Ok weird......so I finally got around to trying your suggestions. Plugged laptop on as it had run out of battery, turned it on and, so far, keys are working just fine! Perhaps it really-booted itself? Now I?m wondering if there is a way of safeguarding it happening again. A message is currently popping up saying it needs to re-start.....but I?m afraid to! It?s a HP laptop btw. Thanks all for help and offers of help via PM too!
  9. Helpful suggestions folk.....thanks, I shall try these things :-)
  10. Now you come to mention it JohnL, I hadn't used the laptop for a while and so when I turned it on, it did run a bunch of updates..........and I'm pretty sure the keyboard was working prior to the updates. I have done the turning it off and on trick a few times but it hasn't resolved. "Is there an option to downgrade drivers in device manager?" This sentence sounds well helpful.....but I don't understand it sorry! Can you be a bit more basic for me please? Thanks for your assistance :-)
  11. This is the second time I've turned to the EDF for laptop issues advice.....clearly I don't have much luck with them....or are laptops just temperamental?! My laptop is working but the keyboard isn't. So it turns on, and the keyboard "mouse" works and the touch screen works....everything works except the keys. Any tips? Or anyone locally who could fix this for me?
