  1. Sounds great, what are your fees please and what are you able to include? I.e. ovens, windows etc
  2. Have had very similar experiences at Kings unfortunately. I would be interested to know what the range of hourly rates looks like for private physio sessions?
  3. Hmmm, tried all suggestions so far but no joy. As before, lights come on to say it has switched on, makes computer type noises (excuse me, there is a long distance between me and Bill Gates) but screen remains black. Any more help out there please?! :-)
  4. Thanks for these helpful suggestions.....keep them coming....I will give them a go! And if there is still no joy then I will be back asking for suggestions about who could fix it ;-)
  5. I have a Sony Vaio laptop that won't turn on. When plugged in and switched on the lights come on and it appears to be working but it doesn't actually come on. I suspect it also needs a bit of a programme clean-up to help it run efficently too. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations? Are there places locally/ people locally that could deal with this? I obviously don't want to pay a fortune as I could just purchase a new one if laptop repairs are costly. Thanks for any help :-)
  6. Lots of helpful advice and suggestions on this website...including the blowing bubbles technique! http://www.eric.org.uk/Parents/information_constipation_parents
  7. Have you tried using the phone app "Bizzby"? On demand services (handyman, cleaner, beauty). The app gets someone registered to be with you within the hour. I've used it and it's fab! Might be worth considering if you need someone asap and no other takers on here......
  8. Sarah-Marie this sounds really anxiety provoking. Thank you for raising awareness. I would like to suggest that most people are able to make a decent assessment of whether someone is behaving in an unusual manner. Most of us have many years experience of walking around in public and so are familiar with people walking at a different pace or overtaking. As people who walk around the streets regularly I would guess that we have a fair sense of usual pavement etiquette but, of course, we are also fallible. As someone who has the experience of being followed some time ago I did question my judgement but instinctually knew this was the case and was later confirmed correct. It does no harm to trust your instinct and report behaviour that makes you feel alarmed. It is also the case that if intervention is offered at an early stage (whether it be mental health or criminal) it can help prevent behaviour from escalating.
  9. I second Green Man and Van. I've used them three times and they were really great and also the best value. Plus they are eco friendly! www.greenmanandvan.co.uk
  10. I had an excellent experience at Camberwell having done what buggie suggested and made a Saturday appointment rather than drop in clinic
  11. Yep, I was there on Sunday afternoon when the weather was sunny. There were lots of people there which was good to see. The food stands were tasty and interesting and I enjoyed a couple of nice ales! The children seemed to be well entertained too.

  13. Anyone know of any local (or London wide) events/ gatherings this evening to commemorate the beginning of the First World War?
  14. Welcome! Can we get a sample menu plus any other details please?
  15. I would politely ask the administrators of this forum to consider Prunella-G's post or block this thread completely. I rarely post on this forum but, on this occasion, I do not feel as though I can ignore such a shocking coment.
  16. Can I have your price list please Sem? Looking for lash extensions. Thanks :-)
  17. Any chance you could post some pictures, give us an idea as to style etc?
  18. Bear Freehouse, Camberwell. Observer newspaper "best sunday roast" award. Best food on any day I'd say!
