  1. Thanks a lot, so will just leave it like that then, as well.
  2. I got photos taken by Stefanie a while ago and they were fantastic. It was in my home though. Can recommend highly. But the outdoor session sounds nice, too. Will pm you Stefanie. Terresa
  3. Interesting to follow, as I?m facing the same decision at the moment.
  4. Yes sounds good, will have to look through my photos...
  5. Hi, I was given a travel cot and soon I have a friend staying with a baby and I was wondering if I need to buy a mattress to put inside the travel cot? Thanks
  6. Good to know, was also looking around, but there are loads online where you have to pay and they don?t seem very good, so didn?t register with any, yet.
  7. Hi, I haven?t got one I could lend you, but I saw that they have some in lidl at the moment. Can?t remember the price, but if no one has one for you, maybe check it out?
  8. Just wanted to thank Stefanie again, as the photos are so beautiful. We took ages deciding which photos we would like as prints and in the end took 2. The framed prints arrived only a week after ordering and look stunning. I can highly recommend her. We are so happy we finally have nice photos on the wall.
  9. By now you probably got photos taken already. But I can also say that Stefanie was lovely. I don?t think she has a studio, only does home visits, but the photos look so beautfiul. This is her homepage: http://www.specialmomentsphotographyltd.co.uk/ I saw her offer in this forum and paid ?120 for a 2 hour photo shoot and got over 50 photos on a cd.
  10. I think it can work out really well, it?s just the matter of finding the right family in your case. For us it was finding the right nanny with own child, it took us ages, but now we are very happy.
  11. Yes I would make sure to leave just before nap time. If that doesn?t work out, plan a stop in the middle to have a little run around. Also bring lots of snacks which take long to eat, so they are busy doing that. Also bring a new toy they don?t know, yet, so that might keep them busy. Also put music on.
  12. I just received the photos from my photo session on Saturday, that was very quick. And I have to say I?m very happy with the results of it. The photos are incredible, I cannot believe how nicely she captured us all. I can highly recommend her. I also ordered two framed prints, but have to decide which photos I would like first, it?s hard to decide when you get so many nice ones to pick from.
  13. As he wants it, I would give it a go. If after a couple of weeks you realise he wasn?t ready after all, you can still give it more time and leave it for a while.
  14. Don?t think you could help there, but my little one just wouldn?t sit long enough for me to take photos ;-)
  15. Just make sure you have enough of everything, like nappies, wipes (especially important), food. New toys, something to chew on while take off and landing. Also enough changes of clothes also very important. And yes plastic bags are usefull as someone menitoned above ;-)
  16. Hello Stephen, my children are a bit too young for face painting at the moment. But I?m sure in the future I would require someone for a birthday party. Does she have a homepage or sth I can save?
  17. Thanks for the recommendation. I really need a massage, too. I had one before Christmas, but that was just a soft back rub as you said and I was looking for someone who can do it a bit firmer. So good you mentioned it. So will definitely book one with Chrissie soon. :-)
  18. I came across this post yesterday and contacted Stefanie. She immediately replied and we had a nice talk on the phone and arranged a photoshoot for this weekend which is very convenient for us. She will come to our house, so little hussle for us.I?m very excited and looking forward to the photoshoot. I?ve been looking for a photographer for ages, but they all seemed so very pricey and this offer sounds very good to me. Will let you know how it was.
  19. I find this homepage very helpful: http://www.edtots.co.uk/ It says Bobbin Tots is on Tuesday 10:30-11:15 It gets very crowded though. And costs 4,50.
  20. Mclaren I would say, too. It?s easy to push and easy to fold for the bus or in the car, as well.
  21. Wow that is so exciting. Can?t offer advise, but wish we could do that, too ;-) I think I?d try Australia.
  22. Hello Claire, what age group is your messy play suitable for, please?

  24. Yes you are allowed to have a baby on the lap in taxi`s but if you prefer not to then there are taxi companies which also have car seats available. Or take the bus?
