But that isn?t a ?work meeting? yet we?re being cajoled into going along with that, as if we?re mean spirited in not doing so. The whole ?they?re taking time out after the battle against Covid? doesn?t wash either. You don?t see Drs and NHS staff doing the same, no!, they?re actually getting back to work, actually battling covid. However, this is the government, you know the ones who hand down the edicts. Only they?re not following the same ones as we?re given. In that context, you?re still ok with this and their other indiscretions?

And they?ve used up all their ?slack? as far as most people are concerned.
  3. Dominic Raab appeared to contradict himself and No 10's claim the PM and staff were pictured during a work meeting and said "sometimes they?ll have a drink after a long day or a long week". He said Downing Street is "fundamentally a place of work" and insisted the actions of those in the picture -Ok, so if you?re ?at a work meeting? then where?s the note books, iPads, laptops etc? I?m not seeing one of these in this ?workplace?, not even a phone in anyone?s hands. Which is unusual,no? https://apple.news/AgcGmgcPRTNSX6qXuoEJMgw

  5. I?m sure Liz Truss is making herself ready for coming panto season / new role in Johnson?s government. Boris and the Brexit Beanstalk.

    Xmas Parties

And the list grows, I?m exhausted reading it. Hopefully Sue Grey will get to the bottom of all this, and throw as many people as possible under as many busses as required. https://apple.news/Av-rvZeu7QKWxdwhQj-bn6A
  7. ?Get your act together or it?s over, MPs warn Boris Johnson? -Surely they realise that this is Johnson with his ?act together? -And then you?ve got enabler?s like IDS projecting the blame on anyone other than the man of chaos himself. Hardly surprising it?s a sh*t show around number 10. Sir Iain Duncan-Smith, the former party leader, said Johnson was having to defend other people?s mistakes. ?No prime minister or president can govern if they spend their whole time having to defend what others have got wrong and failed on,? he told the BBC. ?It is a mistake to have him bogged down in having to justify and defend things that are often unjustifiable.? https://apple.news/AVIwQDV2jSlKlih9UBJFdOg
  8. My ex is like Boris, in that they believe their own narrative, and if unchallenged, that becomes their ?truth?. Only it doesn?t stand up to scrutiny often. He?s spent, get rid of him. It?s not like he?s unaware of the consequences.

Boris is getting that bus ready again, only this time he?s not throwing imaginary Brexity figures around. No no no! Though he is lining up to throw his people under the bus over the Xmas parties, lots of them by the looks of it. ?For he?s a jolly good fellow, for he?s a jolly good feeeelllooow? https://apple.news/AF9Z7eYPvTzaBLQzRdcOIDQ

    Xmas Parties

Oh boo? So now they?re ?cancelling? the parties. Like how boring is that, specially as they made so much effort last year. I don?t know, maybe there?s a few of the usual nudge nudge, wink wink events that go on. Anyways, Boris is busy with new baby #2, so he?ll be home and in his slippers, staring at the gold foil wallpaper.

Someone remind me how many parties (that never happened) we?re up to now? Is it 2 or 3 ? I can?t keep up.
  12. I just had a browse of the newspaper stand at the station Boris is getting plenty of stick across the board, which is nice to see.

Not sure if there?s a problem in this? We?ve increased our own Uk based regs on such things, and rightly so. All wood must be kiln dried below 20% and DEFRA cert. Other fuels must pass the DEFRA smokeless fuel test.
  14. Fkucnig lying seems more contagious than Covid-19 and all its variants. (In someways, like the VW scandal, those involved are so ?in the silo? they fail to check in with reality from time to time.) ?The health secretary has said he refused to face journalists because he was ?upset? by a leaked video showing Downing Street staff laughing about holding a Christmas party. Sajid Javid had been due to speak to journalists from a number of media outlets during a broadcast round on Wednesday. But he pulled out a ?few minutes? after a clip, obtained by ITV, was released. It showed the prime minister?s then-press secretary Allegra Stratton joking about how to describe a ?Christmas party? which took place in Number 10 while London was under lockdown restrictions.? https://apple.news/A6QCgBnlaS56QoshV-CiPdA

If Farrow & Ball bring out a new shade of grubby white for covering stuff up, I?d like to suggest ?Downing Street Whitewash?
  16. He?s our very own Trump isn?t he, and he?s not finished yet. Like the GOP the Tory party is wilfully enabling him for its own desperate need to survive. Lies, lies, lies and more lies. What a rotten sh1tbag Johnson?s proving to be again. And what a shameful state our political class is in. I?m genuinely embarrassed at the way we?re seen by other nations.

    Xmas Parties

What a smelly welly this party business is turning out to be. Firstly you can do what the kfuc you like, then actually you can only gather without anyone else there. And you must follow the rules and guidelines, and of course you will. But it?s illegal to gather for a party as such. Now from Dom Raab: Asked if, as a lawyer, he agreed it would have been a breach of the rules to have held a gathering, Raab said: ?Of course, if there was a formal party held ? that is something that is clearly contrary to the guidance. ?If anyone held a party contrary to the rules, of course that is the wrong thing to do.? ?If something unsubstantiated from anonymous sources actually materialised, then of course it would be wrong,? he added. Then this clip turn up from ITV I?m sure there?s a very simple explanation, to do with cheese, or wine, or business. Or never not having happened.

Let?s go with the clock hands, with Jacob RM?s brolly poked into the centre of the ?O? OBVS JRM is in full standard (tails/top hat).
