It's my favourite thread time of the year And I was beaten to it I was going for: #FlyingAntz2016

From the FT: "Mr Corbyn was a backbencher for 30 years ? voting about 500 times against his own leadership ? before he was elected last summer and many believe he is prepared to split Labour." And we really could do with an opposition party right now, but Jeremy doesn't do 'compromise'. Hence the current situation makes the party totally and utterly unelectable IMHO Which of course the Tories will be loving https://next.ft.com/content/a0c54b8e-3e17-11e6-9f2c-36b487ebd80a

The international argument was what nearly swung me 'out', tho he didn't go anyway near to distancing himself far enough from the dirty Farage campaign style, and the infamous ?350million to the NHS. He seemed quite happy (at the time) to benefit from a dirty 'leave' campaign in parallel with his own His relationship with fact often gets clouded with his desire for story, so maybe he's convinced others he's learned his lesson . Not sure just how long he can keep that up, only time will tell

I'd be interested to see BJ on future political discussion shows, to see if/how he shifts his tone. And unlike being the Mayor, where he was a loose cannon of his own making, essentially without a boss, I'd be interested to see just how tight a reign PM Teresa May will keep on him Futher, I'd rather hear what he's got to say, than read it in the Telegraph I still think he's a cunt

Or maybe BJ has been bought in to face up to the mess he helped create, he'll be out of his depth sometime soon, he'll make some faux-pas beyond the pale, then resign or she'll sack him. His chances at the upcoming GE are then diminished, she goes on to win the vote and becomes the 'elected' PM.

Sam is the manager Oh ha ha ha. Ha ha ha Didn't Boris Johnson want the job?

Ah there we go again, for a second I had thought Mrs T was a bit OK But she's a c*nt, just like the last lot You couldn't make this stuff up

I agree with all that Jenny1 And I'll give my support, but right now I've got a business to run and in the weeks after 'that stupid arse Cameron's vote' fiasco, I've lost money and momentum. And Cameron was famously crap at the content of stuff, big on gestures and sound bites tho But I'm there in spirit *thumbs up symbol here*

I'm being really thick here, but BFS is the big fat Sam guy?

I was heart broken and cried at the Brexit vote. But like ?????'s I've accepted it's happening. I've had to adjust my mindset and move on, else I'll f*ck my business up thinking about it all the time

The need to escape a little is probably greater this year, and it's not been the greatest of summers, but I'm fingers crossed for Wilderness this year. Last year was a joy. https://www.wildernessfestival.com We went last year and enjoyed it, and I'm hoping for more fun this year Also Meatopia at Tobacco dock this September is now over 3 days - That's a lot of meat! Mind you, after the last event I went veggie for 3 months http://meatopia.co.uk/manifesto/ Any EDF'rs attending these or other festivals this year

I guess many people > just have an ingrained bullying instinct to pick > on anyone smaller... Even worse, I occasionally swap vehicles with one of our drivers. He's got a red BMW and when I've ever driven it I'm gobsmacked at how openly hostile people are. You'll rarely get let out of a side street or a roundabout, and people give you the daggers too. But one time a huge rasta came towards me as I parked "Nice nice" and spudded me. Maybe it was the white leather seats and red carpets that did it. I had to laugh, it was the only time that has ever happened to me.

I'm in the bad here. I own a big vehicle and often drive it solo, but I do take my son's team to matches every weekend, so I forgive myself. It's hell to park, as It needs a space and a half It's odd how people treat you tho, and I'm a very calm driver btw. In the big Black VW, people move over or let you through. I always wave and smile whilst mouthing 'thank you' But when I drive my lady's mini, specially with the roof down, oh how different it is. People won't let you through, they cut you up and are generally a lot meaner (even I know I look a knob in it). So the bigger vehicle is my preference to drive, but not park

I've been harbouring an idea for a double-decker mini and a VWT5 for a while now And soon as the ruling elite are freed from the clutches of Europe, I'm second guessing the inevitable 'footprint tax' for London cars

Poor man, I've had this (fell in a sleep walk) and it took 6-9 months to recover. It's a horrible injury to take

Indeed, it's a ball ache. I'm slightly cautious about 'owning' the space just because it's in front of the house, it is after all a public highway. But there is a point when people take the piss, like my neighbour. he has a drive way with a car on, which is fine. But he has two other cars also, one which he never drives and it's parked up in the street. So essentially he takes up 3 car spaces, in a small street. That said, he's a slightly bonkers wife, so I cut him some slack I wonder in a residential street with many houses just how many vehicles should you park in the street. There's some streets in ED where there's hardly ever a place to park, with many vans and cars owned by the same person & taking up the spaces. Some people are just bloody selfish

The beach is sandy (ish) in parts at Minster at low tide. But it also has the sinking variety so I'd be careful and the 'cliffs' are marching their way into the sea . However, it is the second best fossil beach in the UK and it's very quite at the end bit, near the wrecked boat. There's also the wild sea cabbages on that stretch to, have a nibble but they are protected species I think Parking near the Beach Hotel and walk up the the concrete prom until it stops, thereafter on the path. But if you want sand, then West Beach at Lilttlehampton maybe? Or Witterings

About 15 years ago my father in law was Chief medical officer at the FA I saw a little of how that gravy train rolls along for those on it. It's a great big jolly & they're really not interested in much about the team/managers/winning I don't think, it'd be too much effort, they jiggle along nicely whatever happens, getting fat on the whole thing

I resigned myself to this new era we enter, know as "The Joke Island" period All we need is the Queen to keel over and Charles to sit on the throne Done

That is true miga You are exempt from any kind of criticism at 5am. I've been there twice, and I promise it doesn't last forever (even if it feels like it)

I'd had a few 'ludicrous' scenarios in my head for after that referendum, but hadn't quite got to the position of the PM being unelected and being Mrs May. But here we are and it feels quite calm within the goldfish bowl. Though I do feel like I've booked a holiday from a brochure, but turned up and found I'm actually living on a building site in the middle of the desert. The only coach out is now driving away along a thin road, the view distorted by the heat. And I'm shouting for it to come back, my voice being drowned out by jack hammers As for Corbyn, he's making it deliberately ridiculous as he doesn't ever want to contest an election. He knows he's out of his depth, as do his team around him. They know it's only a matter of time and they're playing at it, so as to have something to look back on in 'history'. It's utter bollocks and when we look back in time one day, we'll shake our heads and shed a tear no doubt "What the fuck" And Angela Eagle, she's tenacious I hear, BUT she sounds like Orville the Duck. The thought of The Laborious Party getting themselves together for an election in a year is just beyond imagination Still at least the 'faceless EU bureaucrats' can see we mean business. It must be like looking in at an old freind as dementia takes hold Anyone got any LSD stashed away?
