Is the revised southern timetable from Monday a joke?
Gray replied to anthonyr's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Edit - I'm dumb.. Searching to leave EDW at 0600.. 0655 - 17 mins, direct 0730 - 16 mins, direct 0802 - 39 mins, change at Peckham Rye 0830 - 17 mins, direct 0841 - 49 mins, change at Tulse Hill & Elephant. Appalling. -
Wasn't Curry's replaced by Inside72? Or am I going insane?

Er, so what exactly went wrong?

"We all wish the magic of Christmas could start earlier" No, Disneyland Paris, we don't. It's fecking October. Advertising agencies - a pox on all their houses.

This, to me, epitomises the "Left". http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2015-05-10/riots-erupt-in-london-against-re-election-of-david-cameron/6458098

Blimey, the Professionally Offended are out in force on this one... Give the poor girl a break. -
But we all get eaten eventually, surely? Circle of life, and all that. This has put me in a mood for a good steak, now...

With RPC here... I wear a hi-viz, lights, take the prime location on the road etc, but no helmet. My take on what he is trying to say is he wants the normalisation of cycling, therefore protection of the cyclist - and thus, everyone - becomes second nature to everyone using the roads. Idiots and morons will always be around, but that is across the board wether cyclist, xxx driver or pedestrian. (I meant whether, not a castrated goat.)

Having thought more clearly - ban cars. Everybody else is obviously much, much less important than my cherub.

NO. NO. NO. I DEMAND a crossing in front of my house. Then another one in the road where we cross to get to the nursery. I have the right to save my childrens little legs from walking further than they have to.

Don't forget the herd had two good cullings in 1914-18 and 39-45, as well.

East Dulwich Grove - cars being moved
Gray replied to [email protected]'s topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Exactly the same thing happened on Landcroft Road when that was resurfaced. I walked out to find my car in a lifter at the time. Shoutly loudly and showed them the incorrect signs in front of them. To be honest, Mr Barber, your very carefullly worded "I'll ask council officials what they think has gone wrong and how they'll ensure it doesn't go wrong again." means absolutely fuck all to the people that pay the council wages under threat of gaol or bankruptcy. It shows the lack of accountability that the Council have. How hard can it be to issue correct notices to the people who pay? How hard can it be to ensure contractors work under defined rules? Is Southwark Council really run by a bunch of incompetent idiots that don't realise the effects of their actions? Or are they just far too used to "The Magic Money Tree" that just pays and pays and pays? -
Very enjoyable. Prince Harry had an excellent game.
