  1. Sorry David_c.....didn't mean to snap. Ratty, that's awful.
  2. No the gloves go on ones hands.
  3. Thanks David Carnell, sorry if the surge in knife crime in South London bores you...let's talk about something more interesting. Um, the half price rolls of Andrex on sale at Budgens.......
  4. So, that's murders in Old Kent Road, New Cross, Peckham Rye and now Thornton Heath in the space of weeks. And here I was moaning about the sound of bird song waking me up on another thread!.......
  5. The bird song is much, much noisier in the country so I guess we shouldn't be so 'moany' as CWALD puts it.
  6. An article in todays Gaurdian has said that the victim was known to her attacker, who was also female. The murder also took place a few streets away from where Home Secretary Jacqui Smith used to live. This is the Home Secretary who sparked controversy by saying she would not walk alone after dark in 'parts' of London.
  7. Can we stop talking about bloody Spangles please. Has there been any more reported about the victim in Bellenden Road?
  8. WEAR EAR PLUGS....no joke. I have to.
  9. there's a fella (bird) that starts up at 03.30am.............f-ing little sh*t.....'wanky poo...wanky poo'...is it's call out tune....sorry buit I can't describe it any better than that.
  10. So has there been any more info about the victims attacker? Someone mentioned that it was a female....?
  11. I don't think a person who was 'banned' from the Forum would come back under a different name?! I mean that's just daft.
  12. Don't start compairing Baghdad with Peckham for Gods sake... no matter how 'ironic' you thing your being! Well said NatashaD.
  13. so you know the jumpinjourno personally then? can't think why if they're a 'local' that they would want to scare their own neighbours.
  14. So what do you think is the problem then SMG?

Go easy Jamma.....'diddy journalist'?? So because someone is upset by the event you tell them off for whipping up a frenzy? Freedom of thought and speech, please.
  16. that's screwed you up then Ratty!
  17. are these 20 girls linked in any way? Sorry I don't have access to any news websites at the moment.
  18. (No idea who Moos is! Yes keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer......) Now back to the thread.
  19. Moos Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Er, read the thread. No need for sarcasm pal.....
  20. We were waiting on the high street in Peckham for a bus at 11pm last night.
  21. did this poor woman know here attacker or was it a random killing?.......I feel sick.
  22. Don't get drunk and then travel on public transport.....just an idea....
  23. Thank you for clearing that up Mr/Mrs Administrator. Phew...things get serious on here don't they.
  24. I have heard of two forumities that have been 'banned' from netball... er um... sorry I meant the Forum. And having read what the Administrator has put above this post, the reasons why and warnings that are issued, surely no one has been that inflamitory, racist or abusive, have they to warrant such an old fashioned and big brother like response by being banned? For a London based forum I feel it has gotten a little too reserved. I understand the role that Administrator has to play and it's importance as the forum grows with more people posting threads, but I also feel there is a definate inequality with some of the 'older' more well known and loved posters, who seemingly throw their forum weight about, and the newer people; who in my eyes, seem to get slammed for saying boo to a goose. I was a regular poster, when it was a more relaxed affair. It seems to have gotten so big now that rules and regulations have had to be inforced. I have enough of those to deal with on a daily basis just living in London. I don't need to have them flashing up infront of me when I log onto a local community website....c'est la vie.
  25. ......does anyone know what the criteria is? I've read the forum do's and dont's but want to understand how other people see it to be.....
