  1. Yes, address is correct but addressee is 'unknown' so it does seem like a system error of some sort. I suppose that means it could be for anyone. Haven't called PF yet but if they reveal the sender I'll use that info to vet whomever claims its theirs.
  2. We've received a note from parcelforce that a package is awaiting payment of customs duty before it can be delivered. I checked the tracking number to see if it is genuine, it is. Tracking confirmed it came from Melbourne, Australia - bit of a coincidence. We're not expecting anything and don't intend to pay the customs fee. Please pm me if you think its yours and we can arrange for the customs note to be sent to you.
  3. This happened to me. I also have a camera but turns out the postie delivered to the wrong address. You could try knocking on doors with a similar number but really it relies on the receiver to either bring it round or send it back to RM who should redeliver.
  4. I spoke to one of the 'new' posties a few days ago. He explained that 'management' had recalulated all the routes using computer software and they are handed out to whoever is on shift. Some posties also retired so the established route knowledge has been lost. He also said the staff at peckham were woefully unprepared for the influx from Sylvester Road - like we hadnt realised.

From EDG you can turn right on to Matham and then right onto LL, slightly shorter and theres a box junction to help you out, also you can avoid all the stuck cars and road rage

I expect the next one will be just as thorough. It does seem the residents were split. It also appears that the response rate was only around 20% so best respond when we are consulted lest we end up with an outcome that the majority dont want.
  7. This is a desperate plea to check your post and packages. A delivery occured yesterday and the signature said SP in the name of NEHME at 10:58 yesterday 05/07. I presume SP could be safe place but nothing was found in and around my bins. I have a camera and been through footage but it seems nobody came to my house yesterday so it looks like Royal Fail went to the completely wrong address. Please PM me if you have a package or missed delivery card for No 17 melbourne grove. The item is not hugely valuable but needed for an event tomorrow and i cant get a replacement.
  8. Tfl directed me to BTP then on to a premium rate txt number via which I have reported it. I originally posted to warn people and see if they had similar experience which might confirm my suspicion it happened on the network somewhere.obviously I can't be 100% sure which is likely to be the response from BTP I fear. Ps. I can only get cctv once the crime is reported so maybe I'll get to see that before they tpe over or whatever they do these days
  9. Thanks both. Whatever theyre doing it's pretty clever as they were able to start transacting very quickly and for much more than the contactless limit. I had a quick look at the touch in scanners london bound and they looked in order. I would love to ask to see cctv but there's never anyone there. The southern trains transaction indicates their proximity, too coincidental.
  10. I have recently resorted to touch in/out with my debit card at ED Station since letting my travel card expire. Never usually have my card out of the wallet and haven't used a cash machine for weeks but this evening found that, over the course of less than an hour, hundreds of pounds of transactions were attempted on my account. Payments were attempted to Southern Trains, boohoo.com and billpay. I think my card details must've been captured on my commute. Either by someone taking a snap of it as I put in on the reader or perhaps by a device on the reader themselves. Wanted to warn people and wondered if anyone had a similar experience. I will be topping up and using an oyster tomorrow and checking the readers. Thanks to the very clever software at my bank all transactions were stopped.
  11. It's already cleared up. That's quite efficient of Southwark Council. Thanks for reporting it OP. Shhhh don't tell the fly tippers!
  12. Bmw car key with a mood ring fob. Probably dropped nr junction of melbourne Grove and tell grove where I fell over today and landed in the flooded gutter. Cheers rain and slippery shoes!

I > guess this new portal will at least track interest > in your streets. I live at the north end of melbourne Grove, don't know where else in ED the parking pressures would be greater. Close to station, business bays down one end, double yellows on bends and corners, many converted flats (multiple car ownership in a small footprint), dropped curbs etc etc. Yet still I find the parking opportunities perfectly reasonable for zone 2 in London. There will be a problem if you have to leave your house during the day but a midday CPZ probably wouldn't help that imo. At the moment I would vote against a CPZ because it removes flexibility from the system and I don't believ it would deliver all the benefits some people perceive. Although the personal costs as they stand are manageable, what's to prevent cash strapped councils from upping the cost over time?! When the giant charter school opens its gates on Jarvis road there will be more restrictions and loss of approx 10 spaces and probably more road markings, some parents will drive their kids to school the hop on the train to work and there is hardly any parking for staff (100+) on site. We'd need to reassess then. For now, better the devil you know I reckon.
  14. Beulah, if you click on my link rather than the link where I've been quoted I think it still works. Cheers

('in fairness' I always leave a note with stuff that people are welcome to take)
  17. alice Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You left it in the street - your fault. Take it back alice. You may not be a moron but your comment is moronic and unhelpful. Should I explain your logic to the 4 year old that left it there?
  18. Thanks fox. This is my view too. If I am packing up the car for holiday and go back inside with a couple of bags on the street are they fair game. In this case the lady loiters for a bit. Doesn't knock on the door then takes the scooter.
  19. To the black lady with very long hair wearing a white coat with a shoulder bag grey jogging bottoms who passed my house at 10:22 this morning kindly return the blue micro scooter with lots of elastic bands on it which you took from just outside my front gate. My child left it there by mistake, it was not left there as a giveaway so please bring it back to where you found it. Pm me if you'd like me to collect it. There is hd CCTV of the event. Thanks!
  20. Spoke to this guy about a week ago. He was holding out what appeared to be a genuine US passport and some sort of military service ID. Says he's from new York but came to UK to start a better life. I believe him that support of ex service personell I US is limited. Has no money but does have a place to stay. He says he sometimes hangs out by the Plough. Clearly has mental health issues possibly PTSD but i didnt push the subject and am not qualified to diagnose. Difficult to know what kind of help he wanted or needed rally. Was thoroughly pessimistic about the types of help available; embassy, hostels, social services etc. Even though he was standing opposite the Salvation Army building. Was very friendly but loud, gave him 2 quid as I didn't have the "couple of bucks he was asking for
  21. hi,, im going to Latitude next week (along with half of ED I expect!!) and am happy to test your app. One question, if you're in beta, how come you're charging a quid?
