  1. another vote for Tommys. If you don't mind a bus journey, the mother care in Lewisham has prams.
  2. If you're happy to travel to Brockley then the Sunflower Centre has wonderful classes in small groups.
  3. It's worth buying a few individual cartons or bottles to try - although the formulations are similar they can taste quite different. Hipp Organic went down best with my daughter.
  4. Further to Hazel's points, choose a sans serif font and avoid e-readers or tablets which are backlit.
  5. Follow-on milk contains iron in greater quantities, which can bung up some children. Follow-on milk really only exists to create a product which companies can promote, as it's illegal to advertise or promote first milk. You can earn loyalty card points on follow-on and it can be included in discounts and promotions, which again are illegal for first milk. These might be reasons for using it but there's no real nutritional advantage, and you can give first milk happily to the age of 1, when you can switch to cows' milk.
  6. Your other option is to go back to dr or pharmacist and request a suppository instead. I know we're all a bit squeamish about them but my good German friend thinks we're all mad for wrestling oral meds into our children if suppositories are available...
  7. Did he swim before the fracture? Might some swimming help now?
  8. Have you checked if any of the GPs or the practice nurse at your usual surgery has had the Mirena training?
  9. Very unofficial advice, and I'm not at all a medical professional - but pseudoephedrine, the active ingredient in Sudafed, has an impact on supply, and might help to make you more comfortable. See a doctor sharpish if you have any fever or if the breast becomes hot to touch, or red. Mastitis can come on very quickly.
  10. Holland and Barrett in the Butterfly Walk shopping centre in Camberwell?
  11. Mirena insertion is likely to be straightforward if one or both of your births was vaginal. I only had my last one removed to conceive, and will be getting another one shortly.
  12. You could also try a Nuk soft spout cup - the Lloyds chemist on north cross road sells the spouts and they would fit your existing Nuk bottles. Don't know if you can buy the handles separately but this element of control made a big difference for my bottle refuser.
  13. Prendergast, especially for the music provision.
