Even though I have not been on the forum that long, I too have noticed a shift in mood/flavour/tone... what ever you like to call it... when I first started posting there were lots of aspects I liked some hilariously witty and clever posts some good debates with a twist and the chance to link up (like at the drink thingy) with some great new people the chance to let people know about things that were happening in ED the opportunity to ask advice and more and more and more (the hilarious bit being my favourite) some to the above feels a bit over shadowed at the moment hope it bobs to the top again thanks for all the good stuff so far

Life threatening STD.... HIV? or one of the curable STD's? If this is to do with someone who is HIV positive then we are talking about a very serious matter, even a criminal offence, though not sure here but seem to remember that has been a court case (or maybe there have been a few) where a man who was HIV positive (who had intentional withheld the information from a sexual partner) who had in turn infected the woman... pretty certain he got a prison sentence.

I agree... to "post endlessly" about the minute detail of life makes for boring Forum reading, but accusing someone (even if un-named) of intentionally passing on a life threatening STD is a pretty serious issue. I just am not sure that banding about accusations on the Forum is the best way to deal with this issue. Somerfield may be about to go... does this change the debate??? I think the crossing on LL at Goose Green end is too close to the roundabout... causes all sorts of odd configurations to happen to both cars and those crossing there how about they leave the Iceland crossing where it is and just have one more near the Bishop - removing the one on LL by roundabout (the existing Somerfield is on a bend so it might be better on a straighter bit of road nearer G Green) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7508982.stm -
Important to remember that the thread says "could you do" If my life depended on it, could, but I would rather find Rosie's man with the tool belt though even he seems to need the manual http://www.redbullflugtag.co.uk/blog/mime/1208114305766-1780666453/bbeImgMed/n608908370_543479_9411.jpg RosieH Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There is a certain something about a man in a tool > belt

actually ???? I think that someone was me... but horrors, in hindsight think I had muddled your online persona with someone else's....(not now going to put my foot in any further and name names here!!!) think I mentioned "rough-tough and like satan incarnate" in what was meant to be a jokey way. How totally totally daft and rude on my first EDF drinks!! foot in first, typical me!!! was not meant in anyway to be a bleedin' insult to the online you, though thinking back (ops ops ops and ops) I can see that you might have taken it that way, hope I am forgiven:-$
