I don't have experience with Sony phones, but it looks like that was released around the time of the iPhone 6 two years ago and was their premium model. You should therefore see a reasonable uptick in processing speed, camera and battery life in moving to either the iPhone 7 or the Edge. Imo the main reason one would choose Andriod over Apple at these high end price points is that you are an intense user who values the far greater customisability of Andriod where Apple is relatively restrictive. If this doesn't concern you then Apple imo will give you a smoother more intuitive experience, normally with greater device security.

Grub, I've elected to skip this model, unless photos are a big deal for you then I don't see a compelling reason not to wait for the 7s or 8 which should offer the curved display that the Edge has. As to whether to go for an Edge or an iPhone, what do you have currently? I would have though most would know if they prefer Apple or Andriod at this stage. One thing I have been told about the iPhone 7 is that the lack of headphone jack is not an issue, and with the adaptor one barely notices.

POUS, I suspect there weren't always so many people willing to do that, since now a far greater proportion of people will recieve news via social media rather than traditional media, which has been shown to be potentially highly unreliable as a source: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-intersect/wp/2016/10/12/facebook-has-repeatedly-trended-fake-news-since-firing-its-human-editors/

Brunette Sis of Yorkshire: I would not want either one of my parents on a first date with me. Blond Sis of Yorkshire: pensive pause Blond Sis Of Yorshire: not with what happens on your first dates anywhey. Edit, actually it seems in colour blind.

Anyone watching this? Season 3 out on Netflix recently, although they also have the back catalogue for 1 & 2 which were originally shown on Four I think. I was fearful halfway through that it had been ruined in pivoting to cater for a broader (and American) audience, particularly after episodes 1 & 3 (2 was decent imo). But this was allayed after episode four "San Junipero" which was outstanding (I'm a sucker for 80s throwback though, I enjoyed "Stranger Things" way more than is normal). Episode 6 also top notch. I'm really impressed by this Charlie Brooker guy. He seems to have a Howard Hughesesque versatility when it comes to creative media. That Newswipe, Black Mirror and A touch of cloth all came from the same brain seems unreal.

Malumbu, IMO most of what is sold in the UK aren't really SUVs but rather Cross Overs. But leaving that technicality aside I agree that globally there has been a marked uptick in demand for SUVs / cross overs in recent years, and those automakers without a strong SUV model line up have lost market share. Demand can be broken down into two components - desire, and financial capacity. I can tell you that with respect to financial capacity, in the US credit growth in the vehicle asset finance segment has been robust and granting criteria loose - it really only ranks behind student debt as a likely candidate for the next credit downturn. Given similar monetary environments it would not surprise me if the same applies to the UK. More recently, lower oil has meant lower gas prices, which has materially lowered the total cost of ownership, lowering the entry bar for "gas guzzlers". As far as desire goes, this is more difficult to comprehend in the case of London, where distances are relatively short, and stops and starts relatively frequent as compared to the US - the practical advantage seems much slimmer here. Nonetheless these vehicles have proved increasingly popular, perhaps it is a case of people not wanting to be the smallest guy on the road.

This is ridiculous these kids with no helmet and a phone in one hand that gets more attention than the road. How much can it cost to give them a bracket on the handlebars to mount the phone on, and how difficult can it be for a "disruptive" company to introduce some technology that ensures helmets are worn. -
DTR, Pulled pork in a burger is the food of heathens!

?, Not to mention that one reason the posturing is particularly animated is the upcoming election schedule; France and Germany, then Italy, which creates a reasonable chance that negotiations will be being made with increasingly eurosceptic / sympathetic counterparties.

Sue, AM, Indeed, that has the makings of great sketch material!

Quids, Excellent analysis. It also occurred to be that after a 20% fall you should probably add another ? to prevent feeling devalued.

Chief Entertainment Officer is a difficult one to beat for titular banter. Browsing the 25 actual CEOs on Linked in my favourite is Dan Beers, Chief Entertainment Officer of DBEERS ENTERTAINMENT LLC. That they carry out trucking and transportation business is the icing on the cake. https://www.linkedin.com/in/dan-beers-382b7a11?trk=seokp-title_posts_secondary_cluster_res_author_name

Norwegian app for me having twice taken me to the final stage of checking in while touch and go for a flight and then experiencing "technical issues". Of course I should learn that Gatwick is not an hour with traffic. I have found Byron mediocre at the last three goes, all of which were at different locations. The Mac N Cheese side is particularly carelessly made; watery sauce with a lump of cheese melted on top but completely unintegrated with the pasta. They also rank the four wines in terms of quality with what I believe they must believe are witty descriptors. This is an issue when one's usual habit is to order the second most expensive bottle since they have ruled out the chance of being in ignorant bliss. In my view honest burger, our new Meat Liqour, and Burger Bear (when they are visiting) all have good offerings. If I had to make one critism of each it would be Honest for offering no choice but their Rosemary chips (even though they are not bad), Meat Liqour for having their only double beef offering as that one with "Dead hippy sauce" and white cabage, when a simple bacon double cheese burgeresque offering would also be welcome, and Burger Bear for their fries which are a little too thin imo.

RPC, Talking of heads, I could not recommend the head transplant segment from the recent Gogglebox strongly enough.
