  1. Count me and LB in please. Tho I may be a tad late as I will be hot-footing it from my art class....
  2. Well, I've lived on the road for 5 years and to be honest, the noise of aircraft annoys me more!
  3. I drive up and down frequently and they are high, but a sufferance worth bearing in my view. There is a school and a couple of dodgy junctions (Underhill Rd the worst) and without the humps I suspect we will see more collisions and injuries. The tip is to slow down and drive with caution.
  4. I too performed on stage in the park today - Brockwell! A certain forumite (who was once a Lady....) appeared in the audience and waved at me. Made my day!
  5. Watching these smug, sugary-sweet early shows makes me remember why punk came along like a breath of fresh air (well, a bit smelly really, but you get my drift). Mind you, there were some exceptions, Thin Lizzie and The Boys Are Back in Town for instance.
  6. I imagine it's after what's on his shirt. This may start a new trend. We will soon see babies called 'Topshop'.
  7. How about we organise a forumite exchange programme? Any takers?
  8. Yes, but WE WON THE CUP! KRO
  9. Tintinnabulation Ok I know the rules but I'm feeling rebellious today.
  10. Tintinnabulation Ok I know the rules but I'm feeling rebellious this morning.
  11. Thanks for all the lovely messages! Hugue's post sums it up perfectly. Hurrah!
  12. Ouch! Nicknames are very cruel sometimes, PR.
  13. Ha ha how could I forget Poubelle! Thanks for that, Filous!

  15. In my navy days my nickname was 'Brum' (predictably) and also 'Donkey' (I kid you not). It could have been worst - my best pal was nicknamed 'shitbag'. In the fire brigade I was known for a short time as 'TinTin' - that was until my hair fell out.
  16. I am fifty-something and wear one - and I don't give a damn.... It keeps my balding bonce warm and cosy.
  17. Wigan win, Blackpool lose, Blues to scrape a draw, Wolves to lose by 2 clear goals to Blackburn (who are capable). Maybe...just maybe....!
  18. Whitstable on the Kent coast oozes character and is very affordable. And just over an hours drive away....

Brilliant poem Shorty. Very impressive - particularly as you clearly sussed that it was all just a harmless April Fool prank!
  20. Yes indeed but that doesn't explain the strange wurring noise. Just curious!
