If there were, we'd all be guilty at some point or other! I'd rather tedium than nastiness, any day... (although the odd firework display does go down well!)

  5. Now my juices are really flowing. Sounds lovely LM. Here's my recipe for the day... Hot smoked peppered mackerel and Scrambled egg on toast (for 1). 2 eggs 1 fillet of mackerel Seasoning 2 slices of bread Worcestershire Sauce Beat eggs. Flake mackerel into egg mix. Add seasoning. Heat in saucepan and stir till egg becomes scrambled Add splashes of Worcestershire Sauce Serve on hot toast. Takes approx 5 minutes. Its delicious.
  6. Thanks. I've received the letter. Can you please tell me, what type of traffic calming will be used for the new road surface? The existing type, road cushions, are completely useless.
  7. On second thoughts, I now know what to wear at my next pilates class, eh, Charlie? ;-)
  8. A curry with a cherry on top... some might say this is a playful retro reference to the recipes of the 1970's.
  9. Is it just me, or do all those fellas look constipated?

  11. I would gladly enter Mr Hottie just for the thrill of it.
  12. Excellent syntax there *Bob*!
  13. Before this gets too silly (yeah, like it isn't already!), I described LM in that way as a term of affection, similar to that lady in that comedy show from way back who called her hubby 'Geoffrey Bubbles-Bon-Bon'....

Stay as you are! Thanks LM, you're not bad yourself, you little pot of yogurt, you! By the way, Tipton is in the Black Country, near to Dudloy.

    Thanks Quidsy...
  19. I started to lose my hair in my early 20's and was desperate to cover it up and looked quite silly in the process. In the end I relented and started to shave it all really close, then to be pleasantly surprised to find it was actually quite trendy and not as big a problem as I first imagined. Later on, I started to go grey too. My reaction was instinctively to cover it up by shaving my head even closer than before, because - as everyone knows - grey hair grows faster than normal hair! Only recently have I begun to realise that it doesn't make one jot of difference how I look, hair-wise, as long as the overall appearance is ok. So now, I'm growing my locks (what's left of them) and learning to embrace my greyness. That expensive bottle of hair dye I bought last year (now there's a confession!) will remain unopened, in my bathroom cabinet, never to be used. So the long and short of it is, I agree with Giggirl. And Daizie (though loaded, I ain't!)

I agree with BN5, that the forum should be inclusive - no, must be inclusive. Marginalisation through taking snipes and 'rounding' on others only weakens the forum and divides it. I don't like it when I see personal abuse, 'gang' mentality and even those petty moans aimed at how people use smiley faces or punctuate things or whatever. It all serves to create division.
