Unbearable heat in Dulwich Leisure Centre - gym
Dulwichdarling replied to Peckham Park's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I too mentioned to staff on two separate occasions this weekend Was told that the building belongs to Southwark Council therefore it's their problem So I just kind of realised that I wasn't going to get anywhere with my comments If the air conditioning units cannot be fixed for some time then the leisure centre NEEDS to rent more portable units as the two they have at the moment are NOT sufficient. Unless they sort this, come August they will have to shut the gym as it's a health and safety risk to have the gym open to kids, elderly and just your average human being in such hot conditions -

The situation looked a little odd to me but I presumed it was fine as there was no obvious signs of trouble Don't know if the two situations are related or not but just thought I would mention

Don't swim at dulwich, it's too warm and too crowded. Go to camberwell or peckham -
I was kept awake last night by what sounded like something flying overhead at about 1 AM. Looked out of my bedroom window and was pretty certain I could see what looked like a drone flying in the distance. Wondered if anyone else saw/ heard this. Or if I was dreaming. That's a possibility too.

So what will posting this achieve? a thread to compare all the times we've seen a dog owner avoid picking up poo suprisingly i don't this isn't a dulwich problem it will always happen all over London all over the uk Dulwich isn't some little bubble even though people treat it that way -
Dog walkers Peckham Rye Park
Dulwichdarling replied to lindylou's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It is the law that only up to 5 dogs can be walked per person On or off lead If the owner has control of the dogs there is no reason why they should be kept on lead -
totally agree ianc I think people seem to forget that there is a voice present in all of us If you want to sit down with your caramel macchiato then ask a 'laptop squatter' to politely move there bag so you can sit as well seems logical I think it's highly unlikely these laptop squatters are surfing the East dulwich forum so seems pointless complaining about them on here Let's just use the good old fashioned method of speech It's worked for the last 2 million years

Agressive woman on lordship lane last weekend
Dulwichdarling replied to swedbuilder's topic in The Lounge
Oh did you stop to have a convo with her while she was attacking your wife? And she said she was Jamaican , that's a interesting conversation to have while your wife is being attacked. Don't make assumptions of where people are from mate -

Well you should expect it, using the word coloured makes me cringe We live in 2015 , coloured means nothing, everyone is coloured, whether it be coloured white, black, Asian, mixed.
