  1. Good luck Helen and thanks for taking over. I will come along for the official handover of the clacker board x
  2. Hi, I was wondering what was happening in the pub on New Years Eve. I saw you were selling tickets but wondered what they were for? Thanks, Luisa
  3. Hello, I am a professional clarinettist and teacher in East Dulwich. I have one 1 hour space for a private lesson. Will travel to your home. I have been teaching the clarinet for over 10 years and I currently teach in two primary schools - Eaton Square School and Abercorn School. My students have received music scholarships to excellent secondary schools after auditioning on the clarinet (City of London Girl's, Channing, Wycombe Abbey, St Marylebone). I am a friendly, reliable and fun teacher. Please contact me for more details. Luisa
  4. Andrea came to my house today and did the best leg and bikini wax I've ever had! Thanks Andrea!
  5. I've just signed up for the local dinner dating eve on the 7th - should me a good way to meet people! http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?6,1001968,page=2
  6. I'm up for the 19th. I'm also doing the dry-athalon but I think I can manage to sit in the pub!

  8. Are people getting their post at the moment (1st Feb)? We haven't had anything for about a week in Goose Green, apart from a parcel for a completely different address.....I have had 2 things posted to me a couple of weeks ago that haven't arrived. I've emailed Royal Mail to complain but no reply yet. Last time I complained about getting wrong mail on a weekly basis, I was given a first class stamp.
  9. my reply from Royal Mail: Thank you for contacting Royal Mail. I'm sorry to hear about the misdeliveries in your area. Of the huge volumes of letters and packets we handle, very few encounter a problem along their way - but we take every single failure seriously, so I'm sorry that you've had cause to contact us. I fully appreciate the risk to the security of your mail if our postmen and women do not deliver mail to the right address - and the obvious inconvenience it causes you and the incorrect recipient. It's important that our customers have confidence in us to always deliver their mail to a secure and high standard, so I apologise again that we have let you down. To deal with this problem, and based on the information you've provided, I have been able to take the following action: . Logged and reported the full details of your complaint . Passed these details to the manager of the Delivery Office. The Delivery Office manager will do all that is required to ensure your mail is delivered correctly in the future. I hope that the action above resolves your enquiry and concludes this matter: if you have any other concerns though, please contact us again, quoting your unique reference number ...... With regard to missing mail, Our 'Lost, damaged or delayed inland mail - claims form' (also known as a P58) provides customers with the appropriate framework to help them understand what information is needed to help us conclude their and our enquiries as efficiently as possible. These forms are available at any Post Office, or can be downloaded from our website via this link www.royalmail.com/p58. Once completed, these should be returned to the FREEPOST address detailed at the top of the form (so no need to use a stamp). Once again, please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of Royal Mail for the problem you've had, and our thanks for taking the time to make us aware of this. Please be assured that we take letting our customers down seriously and will use this information to make further improvements. Regards John Nairn Customer Service Advisor
  10. We regularly get the wrong post here and I always post it on. We get a lot of lovefilm dvds for 100 East dulwich Grove which definitely isn't here! I have a feeling the postman chucks a load of stuff through our letter box which isn't ours out of laziness which is a huge worry as God knows where all my post is (currently waiting for a credit card, ebay parcel, national insurance bill and restauratn vouchers). Just made a complaint to Royal Mail via website link above.
  11. 37 is really dodgy for timetables, or was - a few weeks ago I was travelling on it a lot and was waiting for about 25min and 3 would turn up consecutively. Seemed very strange and thought the drivers were up to something as was happening all the time....not sure what though!

Who else is there that signs off lavishing praise on Il Mirto?! I think you may have been on this forum for far too long and become very suspicious and jaded. You obviously don't understand how exciting it is for an Italian to have a Italian restaurant like Il Mirto move in 5 minutes away. Good Italian food and bring your own booze is heaven for me. I'm quite enjoying being accused as a fraud - if I could be bothered and wanted to, is there anyway that i could prove that I'm not?

  14. Hello Gabriele - I'm half Italian - from Sorrento. My father is Italian. Visit Il Mirto for a taste of home! Luisa
