Our brown food bin has not been emptied today(2nd week running)has this happened to anyone else, has their been a change to the service? Thanks

My son was due to have a tooth removed before lockdown and had a temporary seal put in place, which has now come out and he has started to experience pain. H e has tried to manage it himself and yesterday called 111 for some advice. He has been effectively triaged over the phone and given advice but informed that unless he has any swelling to the face he will not be able to seek emergency treatment at this time. Sorry to hear you are suffering too, fingers crossed for a better solution.

when you collect click and collect food you park near the designated area(think its near the nursery) you wait til your van turns up at your time slot so there might be a small group waiting for the same van.

Wow!shortest queue ive seen. about 10 people.

Unfortunately, some customers are browsing other departments, then moving on to food shop, in between making and taking phonecalls, having a chat with someone they bump into etc so the longer they take instore, the longer the wait outside. At the beginning of lockdown people were keen to get in and get out,but lately more people seem to be wandering up and down the aisles.

If you are collecting from argos you have to queue now with everyone else as the policy has recently changed, about a week ago.

Hi, i think the collection point is in the carpark near the petrol station. There might be an awning where the van will park for your time slot. -
you an use cash at the self service checkout, and there is someone to help if you need it, as I did. I paid cash at kiosk/customer service too when I got my neighbours lottery.

Sainsburys dedicated vulnerable customer line

Hi sue, trying to send you pm but inbox full. -
Totally agree with you. I grew up in a large'walking family'and was taught to drop back into single file when others approached,in particular the elderly or someone with shopping. To be expected to step into the road by groups if walkers is a NO for me.

At least the store is still trading, thanks to the staff turning up every day during this difficult time, not to mention having to put up with abuse and moaning from some greedy and selfish customers! I hear Sainsburys are recruiting at the moment, why don't you apply and see how long you last?

Some independent stores are taking advantage of C19
vic.ham replied to Pugwash's topic in The Lounge
Tesco express, sainsburys local, co-op local etc have always charged more for items as they are classed as local convenience stores. -
Lindylou, are you deliberately making inflamatory remarks because you have nothing to do? Do you seriously think that staff in supermarkets cant be bothered to put stock out? Are they not entitled to breaks? What do you mean by wandering about? Not possible that there might be staff sick or self isolating? The staff are under incredible pressure, and your negative comments(and some others on here)just reflect your selfishness and ignorance. I for one think they are doing a great job,and feel sorry for the abuse and rudeness they have been putting up with.

I have been going to co-op LL every other day 8ish and have been able to get milk and bread.Dont bother with Sainsburys, my daughter has just got home from working through the night there, and the queue is back to the nursery again!
